sure its a great tank but does it have any offensive power in PvP?

Acouple of small points on why i chose dooctor.

Someone said earlier that doc was chosing defense over offense but i dont necessarily agree. Unless you are mastering a ranged and a melee profession it is pointless to master more than one melee class for offense. If you were to master pikeman and a master tka for instance you will be limited to the class you are using atm and limited to that classes offense. So as far as im concerend for a pure melee guy the rest of your temp is going to end up being defense anyway no matter what you do.

Now on to doc vs defense stacking. Yes its impressive to have all yoru state defenses above 100 but is it necessary? When a doc can simply cure them is that not more impressive and effective? And with ranged/melee defense not beign what they once were(ie 125 cap) its nowhere near as helpfull. Yes its harder to hit a 125 melee defense character but is it not also harder to kill a guy who constantly keep healing himself? How about even harder when he has a mind buff?

I personally see doc as superior to defense stacking not by being better at something else and considering the differences but at being better at the very same thing.

I plan on using nothing but Pikeman in battle, so the only offensive abilities I have is from Pikeman.

I truly dont know how well this template will do. It looks good in numbers, but who knows. I've read somewhere that even with the cap being lowered to 125, you will still recieve way less hits/damage then say someone at 70. As for Block and Melee being so high, its just a by product of stacking everything else. I didnt intentionaly make them that way.

It took me awhile to commit to this template because I had to drop all Medic skills. Having medic skills in the beginning was pretty much essential to survival. When buffs came out and all the new food, I found myself not really using it all that much anymore. Also, seems like nobody ever attacks my health or action anymore, but my mind.

Good template...mind if I copy it?

Right now im not pikeman, hell, i dont even have polearms 1 in brawler...but i was messing around on my prof calculator and i found a fricken badass pvp template involving pikeman!

the template is uber diffucult to get...here gos....Master Pikeman/ Master Fencer/ Master Teras Kasi

they Melee and ranged defence both reach up into the cap (well beyond as a matter of fact) and they have very high defence vs. whatever-state...

like defence vs. dizzy is like 95 and so forth...

I would consider this template to be very good, and Pikeman is the prof that adds all the defence vs. whateverstate (believe me i check the template with swordsman and it was no good compared to this one)...

Well tell me what you think...after i finish my current template (in sig) im thinking about grinding this out

OK, well for about a week or so now I have been a Master TKA/Fencer/Pikeman and it has done just fine. Mostly used for PvE, at which it is insanely powerful, however it is also very good at PvP. Using full buffs form a doc, and some mind food wearing 40% stun comp armor (70ish to everything else) I have beaten a Rifleman/Fencer combo, Rifleman/TK combo and assorted other professions in one on one fights. The maxxed out melee and ranged defense as well as the high state defenses mean I am missed more often, when centered, than hit and I stay on my feet and non dizzy when I am hit. Also, this template gives a wide variety of damage types(for a melee template) as well as attack options. It may not be the "super-uber" template on account of lacking ranged attacks/mitigation but it works pretty well for me.
