stop trying to use a WP.
If you cannot see him, then he must have fallen off. You cant miss the guy when you take the right hand side of the canopy.

Agree used it for general direction just keep right and go down to I belive it's like the first "Intersection" and he will be there...well if he did not take a header off

The waypoint works, but doesn't display onscreen the right direction or distance. The planetary map does show it correctly though.

Did the quest earlier today.
Found the body of the wookiee son nearby the Rryatt gate. I went towards it, turned around and went forward
onto a trail (so no left or right, just forward) and the body was there with a datapad next to it.

After that I went into the Rryatt trail on Instance 1 and went to lv3 with all the circles and looked for a while and
found no evil Wookiee with a spear. I decided to go back to the gate, leave the trails and then pick Instance 2
insted. I went back to the third level and on the right side of the circles, there was the evil wookiee.
Killed him, got the spear, went back to papa Wookiee in the big tree and got the spear.

I was having serius problums too..STILL am, but from what I understand. Get down to the Worshyer Canopy on the RYayyt Trail( I belive its the third section down) ( One tip make sure to talk to the master ranger guid wookie at the top...then every tiem you finish a section, talk to teh guid adn go DOWN one level. then if you need to go back up, you can jsut start from the level by talking with the master Trail guide), he should spawn soem where beteween the begining ( end also fine) of the map and the crazed rodians. I spent two hrs running around the perimiter..no luck, I guess he had fallen through...which I maneged to do, but was killed by the MASSIVE amounts of ememys that have also fallen through. Another hint, if you get agroed...just keep running, they will break agro eventually

It's in the Ryyyt Trails...it's the third level down (if you count the gate as the first)

thanks for the reply. it was my first time down there and exploring the planet. i was lucky to find someone that guided me till i understood how that place worked

Akyma ... were u able to finish the mission? ... i sentu a tell but u were afk ... im havingtruble in the Ryyt Trails as well ...

I got one last night after sorting out what the guides were all about. I must of tried every way but jump up and down to be able to climb down the rope ladder... 
Walking around on the canapy is really creepy!
Pike stats are great! Almost hate to use it but that's really what its for. I plan to get two more just to have. Argo was light to none. Creatures, and there are somenasty ones, just went to the alert stageand watched asIsneaked by. I went unarmed and thatmay of made the difference. It a great quest, give it a try!

I'm having a heck of a time finding the trail guides to let you move levels - do you just wander until you stumble across one, or is there a better way?
