my praise is that I may be one dam good naked dueler on the valcyn ty to my stat migration and nice pikes.

only problem I'll have is commando and there silly FT.

For now I just sit around coronet and wing it , doesn't really matter if I win or lose cause I can just say

" at least my specials looks cooler than yours."

I mastered pike last night and headed to Dant to test my master skills on some pikets. I had some serious doubts, but I was actually surprised. With my 593 max dmg LVA, whenever I'd KD a piket, I'd hit anywhere from 2.5k to 4.6k damage. I don't plan on dropping pikeman for quite some time. Infact, I dropped all of TKA (save the meditation tree) in order to master pike. Long live pikeman! Weee!

Everyone I knew who did Pikeman as their holo said they enjoyed it a lot. As of right now, I am 2-4-4-3 in Pikeman, and I can't wait to check out how I'd be in combat when I'm master

I had suspicions that pikeman would suck compared to other combat classes when I started out onthis long and difficult road. Currently I am 4 0 4 3 (saving the offensive techniques tree for last). Once I reached the top of the defensive tree and started nearing the top of the stances tree, I began to notice that I wasn't dying as much. In fact I noticed that more often than not I was actually kicking butt and surviving to tell the tale (with the help of a sliced set of 71% kinetic ubese). I love the ability to spin attack 2 + sweep 2, then pound the helpless NPCs while they fall over and over. Of course the dizzy+knockdown thing doesn't seem to work very well on creatures, but I don't mind. My praise for this beautiful profession. I would like to see more weapons available, and see the infamous NS energy lance become I quest item, but otherwise I LOVE BEING A PIKEMAN.

Personally, I took on Pikeman because I wanted to be different then everyone else out there. In my honest opinion, it was a completely PvE based prof...which I intended to use for PvP purposes. Now, everyone I talked to, including myself, expected this to last a day or two...before I got tired of getting killed....heh..I was never so wrong. To this date, I've killed more people in PvP using master Pikeman, then I did with master rifleman. To a certain extent, I've developed a good deal of respect through out the Corbantis PvP world.

...my crowning achievement, was probably taking on three master elite profs in theed...and managing to pull through with a win. (Had a healthy dose of muon, brandy, stim D's, Dizzy Cures, Citros Snow cake and Vagnerian Canape to pull me through.)...well to stop ranting and trying to built up my own ego. I think that honestly, the true power of Pikeman lays in Nightsister to loots. Which is another thing that makes the prof so great! What other proffession, can loot weapons that are better then Weaponsmith made ones?

Heh...in the end, it really comes down to one thing. Pikeman = A whole lot of fun.

I agree with you bro...Pikemen is alot of fun...even though i just got it, I still think it's the best out there. Woot to all Pikemen!

The setting: Dantooine, 11:45pm.

Myself and my rodian chick friend are doing 30k Janta missions when her buffs go. I check my timer and realize I've got 3 minutes on them. We've only got one more mission left, so we decide to do it anyway.

I scream in on my swoop, leap off it, and by some perfectly timed twist of fate, get warped right to the lair. I start planting spin attacks on it... and in come the Jantas. But at this particular spot on Dantooine... there's also a jungle voritor tracker freespawn.

6 Jantas and 3 JVTs are attacking me. I'm whipping my LVA around freely, shredding them but taking a ton of damage. Then I get angry.

I equip my beastly 4.3 258-977 LVA. Swing it around with Area2... half the Jantas drop. Another swing, and there's only one Janta left - and he starts running. But I've still got the voritors to deal with! I dispatch them (which takes longer then I had predicted), then run down the last Janta with a nice 9714 damage (floated) ph3...

And my buffs go.

My most recent joyfilled experience with pikeman was when I drove into this reb town called nemesis on my server and ran into two imps both Tk's one was Master wasn't sure about the other so anyway I had already hopped off my bike and stored so now they start chasing me I call my bot and it pops out right before combat was initiated as I'm runing I start to buff myself because i'd been looking for a fight all day (theyjust caught me off guard I was about to log) so I manage to get all my stats but stamina before one of them had the brains to attack my bot with lunge 2 instaed of using it on me (I had recently dropped all my crafting indoc for0/4/0/0 in fencer) well I'm really pissed that was my fourth bot in a week so I turn center myself and i'm on combat chat just blocking almost everything they throw at me I use two spinattacks 2 just to make sure the dizzy sticks em both thenPolearm Knockdown 2, lol both go downthen I spam my area attack 2 while i'm doing this I switch to my double dot nightsister lance just to dot em the poison is only 119 in strength to health but I'm constantly wacking at em so they are slowly dieing well one pops up and starts spamming head hit no biggieSYNTHSTEAK TO THERESCUE, the other guy incaps before he can even get up lol. Well finally this last guy get's me down and stops attacking my head (STUPID) he goes for unarmed three typical Tk stupidity the poison obviously starts to scare him and he bolts leaving his friend *shakeshead* I get up deathblow his friend and was quick enough to give chase but can't burst because i'm dizzy, but I get off one lucky lunge anddown to his knees he goes then pops right backup instant knockdown dizzyi casually run up to him hit him with one polearm hit 3then deathblow felt good lol and then I spent fiftheen minutes getting hate tells and em asking me where u at exploiter I ignore them go buy my new bot (again) log and called it a good night.
