all you have to do is hit them once and you get the full xp. i was in an 8 man group with inspiration buffs. level 80 fighting level 81 creatures. i hit each once and got 29k xp (bloodfin) when it was killed.

If that's true that's good to know. I'm not very high level but I'l be working on SL with low level pistol certification.

It tells you the XP you would get with a normal profession at your level. Jedi XP is much much lower.
