Yeah the "talent" just oozes from their ears. . .

At no point in time do I imagine pike is working right. I do know that with our aresenal of DoT weapons and some decent armor / buffs we can be a force on the field.
As for wookies, well, I just don't know what to say 
you all are on the wrong end of the lance.

I don't disagree with you one bit. In fact, I don't disagree with the original poster (as much of a dink he may be).
Somewhere, somehow, someone in this thread got the impression that I said (or think) that pikeman are uber. Far from it. If this was true, then why would I have to augment my skills, as a pikeman, with those from other professions.
The point I was trying to make before (and will vainly, no doubt, make again), was not to judge a book by its cover.
Just because I'm carrying a pike doesn't makeme weak.

The problem is a lot of people really aren't happy with it. Sadly pikeman is a class that COULD be really cool. We have some of the best looking specials, the coolest looking weapons and it really can be a fun class to play. The main problem is, its not working right. Something in the basics of the class are messed up. I ended up taking pikeman as part of my holo grind, I've seen become so stubborn and determined to master this silly class that I really don't care anymore if it helps me make Jedi or not.
I really do see a lot of potential for a pikeman as a support class/tank if they could just get the damage and accuracy worked out. After watching TKA get the boost its gotten, and watching many many other classes get a decent amount of love its hard to sit back and watch pikeman get basically ignored. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the changes to the weapon schematics that were made last patch, they certainly help a little bit, but having been a master weaponsmith as well, I can tell you that it gets frustrating knowing that you're making a weapon that can be beaten out by a looted item. Something needs to be done.
