Oh, so the Acklay is a timed spawn? And the Kliknick are they the sniping/spitting variety? I hate sniping critters.

Yeah he has a re-spawn timer of 2 hours. The kliknicks down at teh bottom shoot fireballs at u and it's a pain so try to get tehm all melee on u and have CoB running constantly while intimidating them each in turn and u should be fine. Once u get into teh room with Ackley there are a few more klicks but u should be able to take them and concentrate on Ackley himself.

They are the same place. It is commonly refered to as a cave when in fact it is a lab.

It was probably just dead when you got there, it's usually camped round the clock on most servers, sometimes you get lucky and it'll be there in the morning, but for the most part you can plan on having a lot of competition to kill it since there is only one and it only spawns every 2hrs (about 11-12) times a day. My advice is you better be speed capped, with a good hammer if you want the loot with others around. Good Luck.

just after the nerf of the bugged spawns, i had a large group going, and we bugged the acklay, it was a bit*h though, cuz u had to drag it all the way from its spawn to outside of the geo cave. once you killed it outside, it immediately spawned back in its cave again. we had it synchronized pretty well and killed it about 20 times within an hour, but no great bones. some RIS schems, some uber ass venom lol, hide, and a few sets of bones around 90-130 range. too bad after pub11 they nerfed that. now nothing will go back up that corkscrew passage at the beginning.

Swords is at a disadvantage on the acklay, as a pikeman with a good LVA or a rifleman with a good dxr can outdamage you, try to let anyone else attack first and get intimidated and draw fire from the kliksthen use your best scythe with a PuP.

Last night i got my speed up to 93 finally so I decided to go to the geo cave to celebrate this, i figured why not try and take a shot at the acklay. I went there and was amazed to find that nobody else was at the cave. I figured this should be fun,i procedeed to solo the cave. now i know this isnt a big feat to most people but it was my first time doing it and i was happy. what upset me though was after i cleared most of the cave somebody ran in and went to the acklay waiting room without having to do any work. i eventually lost the looting rights to this person because i was intimidated the whole fight and couldnt do enough damage. it felt really good though to fight the acklay and i can cross this one off my list. next 2 things on the list :Kryat Dragon and NS Elder.

Yea it was kinda upsetting,but i think i'm gonna go back after i get the next force melee speed box and i might have to invest in a new hammer. I'll get that acklay yet

i got home after school today and had an hour before i had a prior engagement and decided to kill the acklay. ran all the way through the cave and killed it alone, and looted.....nothing
