vl in pve coz most things have low electric res (the things that have high elect res are usually the things us pikeman need like elders for pikes and the queen for NSEL

Any time a vulnerability is involved, the AR/AP calculations are skipped entirely. Since virtually nothing has LS resists, this actually means that the AP2 on a lightsaber is meaningless. It gives no damage bonus unless there's a >0 resist.

Naked vs lightsaber = 100% damage (no bonus).
Bone armor vs lightsaber = 100% damage (no bonus).

If you have a PSG with LS resists on the other hand, the AP bonus does come into effect, and gives 100 x 1.25 damage (due to being 1 level above the AR of the PSG). If you happen to have a PSG with 10% LS resists, you'd take more damage vs a lightsaber than you would running around naked.

Yes, it makes no sense.
