Thread: A good Template to go with Master Pikeman?

Even if they go to the far extreme and make ALL melee/ranged/state defenses unstackable, they would make master brawler contain polearm melee/ranged defense, unarmed, etc. etc. Master Brawler will always be worth it, in my opinion. warcry2, lunge2, intimidate2 plus the speed, accuracy and defensive bonuses (including toughness!).

Exploration 4 gains you nothing. You may want to put those extra 5 points into medic.

im going master pikeman with 0400 in doc and 3040 in pistoleer. That way i can revive, buff and heal not to mention that i can actually defend myself aainst something farther away then 13m

well i was working on this beforei got wind of the stack nerf..


master brawler( for imt 2/warcry 2, pike bonuses) (77pts)

master pikman (63 pts) (w/othe cost from brawler)

40004 tka (for def acuity, wound heal/powerboost) (34 pts) (w/o the cost from brawler)

2000 fencer (for melee defraned def) (15pts) (w/o the cost from brawler)

0340 rilfeman( for ranged def/block ranged mit2) (61 pts) (including the cost from marksman)




SO... the math part ( plzcheck my math)


Mb 77 pts

Mp 63 pts

Tk 34 pts

Fn 15 pts

Rm 61 pts

total------ 250 pts









this should give you



+139 melee def

+144 ranged def

+71def acuity

+175block



these are just the Main def stats ( i dodn't tke the time ot ad the def Vs kd and such)



any thoughts? comments? i thought this MIGHT help a pikeman out( lvl the playing field)

in that case, go 0040 rifleman and 4000 fencer and have a few points left over(9?) to do what you want w/( maaybe more def vs kd tec....)
