Just acquired a 962max LVA.So I also am making a pikeman/bh for something different. Im currently a master swords/bh with pistol tech 4, fs melee speed 3, polearms 3.
The above mentioned template was very effective even with a 700 dmg ph.
Template Goal: Master Pikeman, Bh 4xxx (inv 4.. this could be dropped to 3 to pick up more fs boxes if u wish), Pistoleer xx4x (state def), fs melee speed 4, fs melee accuracy 4, fs melee defense 4.
This will allow me to be speedcapped with just a few more speed pts which are not hard to acquire at all. I have 9 speed which caps me with the above LVA. This template also has nice state defenses compared to my last template actually a bit better and I fared very well against jedi. But when it comes to jedi its not just your template or weapon its your experience in fighting them. So many people thought I had better gear than just a 700 dmg ph (that was with pup) because of how effective I was.
So this should be a pretty good template and if you couple that with experience you should do fairly well. Especially when the tef system is gone.

Well my pike stats above are unpup'd. I know its not the best but its 1k+
Now just need to find a really nice fire dot for those runners.
Also question to the current bh/pikeman.. do you find yourself using medic skills all that much? I know as a swordsman/bh I do fine without any medic skills, I'd rather have the pistol tech for the added state defenses. But swords I believe have more toughness so will this be a problem that I run into against jedi? Note that I used to be a master carbineer/master bh, novice brawler and did quite well.. or as well as you could as a ranged bh. More kills than I was killed. So I consider that good enough.

i think yeho hit the nail on the head.....
so.....get a nice 1k+ lance, get like 2 action fire pikes with 200+str
warcry, intimidate, apply them, take out 1k lance, kd, dizzy, actionhit1, actionhit2, leghit2
jedis wont like that....guaranteed

that's what i said originaly 
apply states/dots then beat them to death w/ the 1k lva, reapplying if needed

and yes i know, i fought a mdefender for about 20 minutes i was so bored after i killed him lol, he was kd dizzy most of the time (dont think he had healallstates)

with a 874 max LVA unpupped I can already defeat the JeBays and most knights, so far the tough ones have intimidate.

well with a 1255 lva...and 2 health fire pikes that tick for near 600 and two mind poison pikes that tick for near 600...here is the key...kd them...then warcry...they can't do ANYTHING for 10 seconds...plenty of time for them to tick and assist you in your killing of your jedi...btw...don't use polehit3...use polehit2 as polehit3 is a posture change attack and if they are kd that attack will make them get up.

see here is the thing, im master brawler and i have the usual 20 second warcry, but when i get my warcry to stick it almost seems like it doesnt effect anyone, i mean RIGHT after i use warcry im getting hit still, i dunno what i may be doing wrong or maybe its lag or im just stupid and maybe its not happeneing....i dunno, but any ideas? lol
