Right, then subsequently comes the question of how useful it even is. Most NSELs aren't really any better than a damage-sliced, crafted Vibrolance... not counting the disease DOTs. Not exactly what most mere mortals can solo an Elder with, and against virtually anything else an LVA is a far better choice.
Don't get me wrong, I'd still pay an arm and a leg to carry it around

I want one b/cause not only does it look cooler than any other pike in game ( any weapon IMO) but doesnt it have red color trails? . . . . and i dont see many on my server........I used to be Unique with a LVA, now i need one of these. . . Most DOt whore pikeman dont buy them . . . . .

I've heard that the particle effect only seems to work when you shuttle to a new location. Afterwards you have to shuttle again to see the effect again. As for needing one, they aren't that great. They have less armor piercing than the LVA does and the DoTs aren't as good as the ones you can loot.

when you fight with it, it does leave color trails, as well as having a spark effect, i love BOTH of mine.

though i'm adding master pikes to my template just to use this baby as best i can

Only if you plan on selling them. The stats on the NSEL are crap compared to a LVA.
3) And if so, how often would you say these drop

I can solo the entire cave as a rifle/pikeman with a squadleader spamming formup and retreat.
5) - -anything else i may have forgotten or you need to ask. . . .
6) i know about the forum differences, but what do base motors go for on your server..
7) is there anything wrong with buying a NSEL
nothing wrong with it at all. Come to sunrunner and bid on mine!
8) Do you think something needs to be done about the spawn timer?. . .all other high end mobs spawn fast IE( Nyax=15 minutes, Acklay=2 hrs. . . .etc..etc )
at least bring it back to once a day
