Actually both Spin 2 and Area 2 are inferior to Stun 2 inDPS -using an average crafted 4.5 speed LVA - thanks to their high delay mod. It takes 90 speed (that's 15 more then a master gets) for area 2 to overtake stun 2 in DPS.

So if you're leveling pikeman or lack the attachments to getclose to90 speed, use Stun 2 as your area attack of choice. Use Area 2 only to apply dizzy when needed and forget about Spin 2 all together. You even get Stun 2 in the first box of Stances (speed) Line.
