one time i shuttled into bestine alone and saw about 5-6 tkm's and if you know how to handle yourself you can do well as i am tkm and know their weaknesses. well they all start to attack me so i take out my 260str mind fire which ticks for well over 300. i used area attack to mind fire each of them then started running into a circle and i guess they foregot about lunge and my mind fire took them all out and i only had to deathblow like 4 ua3 another and chase the last one who ran behind the starport. they did manage to get a knockdown on me when i was close but they took that opportunity to try and shuttle away which failed.

another i was in Dantoooine mining outpost and i see 2 overt so i start hitting them and they must have synsteak cuz they are unarmored and im doing low damage. i mind fire (yes i know im a dot whore but it works.) none ran to the water so i ended up incapping them both but they kept inviting so many people to their group, 1 rifleman whoi almost died to but he took out his own mind from about 2000 so i headhit once and db him then luckily the other enemy was a fencer who cant target mind so i killed him and chased the others who either logged in the middle of the lake or went to the lake and waited for their tef to ware off.

another one that just happend a a couple days ago is. i shuttle into bestine and a jedi is waiting for me, i quickly take down his force while she is doing close to nothing damage to me. she force runs(worst thing in the game) and ends up grouping with another jedi who gtefs(should be taken out of the game)off the other jedi and killed me in about 15 seconds. another war story is posted below this one of mine.

Rofl, I was hunting krayt, I would have killed you like I normally do in pvp, but I didn't feel like slowing down my hunt for krayt. Note you had tef on my friends when I first showed up, but being smart and seeing me, you chose to stay out of the fight, lol

PS like I didn's see the group of 15 sgo in the area too, granted I would have killed all them too, but it just would have taken too much time away from me grinding krayt.

Also warcy and dots do not give you bragging rights in PVP. I was a pikeman for 6 months and managed to win fights all the time without using either. (well other than a occasional wacry heal)

i have no idea how to do this the regular way so ill do it my way

you have obviously never been to ahazi where everyone uses dots, its just the person with the stronger one wins. dots are needed when jedi get in groups of 5+ and go hunting for rebs/imps to kill. dots are needed for the people that own 3k dmg t21's (yes thats right someone has a 3kdmg t21 and also a 1300dmg one and i think another one like these) 1500 action fire pistols, 800mind poisen pistols, 800 action poisen pistols and 900 health poisen rifles, over 1k dmg stun batons, janta knives with over 600stregnth poisens on them,and mind fires that are even 300+stregnth stronger then my 260. the GCW is so messed up right now its almost ALMOST unplayable with these people that have the uber weapons that can kill most people in a hit or 2.

I am for them removing the dots too. I am just saying using a big dot weapon shows no skill or talent on the players part. My point is there is alot more to pikeman than JUST dots. (there is alot that needs fixed, don't get me wrong, just there is more to pikeman than dots)

i agree they should take dots out of the game but if they werent in the game right now jedi would be the only ones killing people.

Ok here is my story. I am a Master Pikeman/Master Brawleron Bria. I rarely PvP because...well...I suck! Anyway, I was just finishing up some grinding and had maybe 10 minutes left on my buffs when a Guildmate of mine, a BH, sends out a message saying there is a live event going down at the Imp base on Datooine. Rebel NPC's are attacking in droves. My friend and I are rebels and I thought, "What the heck! I only have 10 minutes left on the buffs, andI will die, but it will be fun!". So I head over to the base using my trusty JTL ship (No shuttle for me!) and whenI arrive all hell is breaking loose!

Now I am a covert rebel and therewere quite a few very overt Imperial players running around. I knew I could touch them or be touched in my present state. Since I did not wish to deprive said imperials of the verygood time theycould havekilling me,I target a group of ST's, brandish my LVAand wade in throwing Area Attack 2 and Sweep 2. Sufficiently Tef'ed, I quickly finish off the stormies when another group hits me andI pound away on them!As I come down to last one My buffs drop butI am still doing fine whenI turn around and run smack into an ATST. Needless to say,I am quickly incapped and then db'd by a passing player. Good for him!

Not to let one death stand in my way I quickly clone and then head back out, unbuffed of course. Once again covert,I go outside the base to see whats up and to see if I can pick up a quick TEF again. I find a lone ST and down him. Yippee! Iam tef'd again and looking forward to crossing weapons with a living player. As I look up to find a suitable target....I see a very large Kimo, some imperial's friendly pet, bearing down on me along with about 15 to twenty Imperial players!

Now I have no illusions that they were all coming to get me, I assume this wookie simply stood between them and their target, a wave of incoming elite Reb Npc's. But as a result of being in this very wrong place at this very wrong time I am quickly trampled by the Kimo and deathblowed, purely as an afterthoughtI am sure, by his caring owner.

Meanwhile back at the cloner,I arrived again and noticed my HAM bars showing significantly more black then Red/Green/Blue. But no matter! Once moreI launched into the fray and headed outside the base to where the action was! The Kimo and his owner come back again, this time aiming for me looking for the quick kill.But they are foiled by game mechanics. Idid not have a TEF! They passed me by grumblingandI looked to see whoI could whack to get flagged. I took out an NS lance I had been saving hoping thatI could at least lay an inconvienient malady on somebody before they removed my furry head from my shoulders. The main body of Imperial players hadmoved on byme andI found a lone imperial npc to whack to get my TEF. As I battled the NPC I noticed a Dark Jedi playerapproaching from the side and I figuredIwas toast. I finished off the NPC and turned to meet my maker when... the Jedi runs the other way!

I assume they must have seen the DOT lance and the Master Pikeman tag and assumed I was a much better playerthanthis narrative describes and not worth the chance of losing xp. They certainly did not take time to note my Ham which only reavealed a mere sliver of color on each bar. Bravely I lumbered off in pursuit thinking "I am at least going to hit one Player before I die!!!.....ummmm....again....

Coming round the corner I start catching up to the Jedi! Step by step I close the distance! Letting out a mighty roar I RAISE MYLANCE TO ENGAGE MY FOE!!.........andI am again quickly incapped by a passing ATST and promptly deathblowed by the Jedi.

I awake to find the friendly and familiar confines of the cloning chamber. But this time my HAM is soooooooo lowI am incapped by the process! Laying in the cloner, admiring the ceiling,I notice that I am lying on something rather bumpy, uncomfortableand not remotely floor-like in any way. Moving my field of vision I see two feet sticking out from under me, not unlike the Wicked Witch of the East under Dorothy's house. Turns outI am lying on top of my guildmate! We share a few laughs as the timer ticks off.Once the incap timewas completed. I decided discretion was now the better part of valor and I left the outpost as the Imperial forces finished mopping up. In the end, it took a Novice Medic in Mos Eisley almost20 minutes to heal my wounds and it took another 15 minutes to get rid of the 500+ BF I had accumulated. At least the Medic and Entertainers got some good experience!

But all in all it was a lot of fun andI can say proudly in my best Scooby Doo fashion: "that I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for an ATST, a Kimo and a Jedi!"

Naaaaahhhhh, I still would have died horribly!

the war story I remember from the back of my head.

me and two others one bh/swords and one rifle , Im pike/doc and some defence, had mission on a jedi, we allpvp alot and are quite confident in our skills, so when we saw the jedi was in a cantina normally crowded with jedi and rebel pvpers we still went to kill the jedi.

at the time there was only 3 jedi and 8-10 players in the city, so we waited for our chance to get the jedi,

when the jedi was confident he could beat us, with a grp of 3 jedi and 8-10 normal characters , he went outside to fight.

our bh attacked and soon he got tefed by the others, so we started fighting, me swinging areas, and yes DoTing, while my rm mate took out the other rm's and some unlucky melee, I healed DoTs, and guarded my rm mate from the jedi.

After a breif fight we had killed 2 jedi and the other players, only one jedi forcerunned away, wich our bh tracked and killed, while me and the rm were killing random attackers in the town,

after that we were stilled tefed, and a the others returned with a bigger grp and killed us.

after that we cloned, got buffed and went pvping elswere

Lol...

Yesterday I was overt (rebel), shuttled to theed shuttleport C.
Then my friend sends me a tell: "Sh1t 6 overt imps at SP"

So, I hop on my swoop and ride around the SP shouting"OMG I'm overt!"till i have 5 chasing me

.

I bike down the waterfall, hop off my bike, and use area attack 2/sweep 2 with my 300 strength mind fire.

Managed to kill 3 of them before getting sniped by a jawa-wielding rifleman.
