im pretty sure its like another poster has said, to relieve the world of dead bodies to help free up the server from bogging the hell down from too many bodies stacking up. I bet all they did was make it so that every npc atleast drops 1cr to clear the body. It is a good move i think. In spots where the spawn is instantaneous like meatlumps or what ever, your not sitting around waiting for the server to discard the body for a new spawn. Also if your out doing npc missions, it removes the bodies, so when you leave the area the server no longer has to account for the bodies left behind. Instant Purge of bodies = smoother play!

(this is all assumed of course hehe)

Yeah i had this too. I assumed it was because i took the luck tree but obviously not.

i've never read any concrete proof of how anyone benefited from having that Luck tree.

from what i understand the luck tree will increase the amount of credits looted, nothing more...

yes, but how can you prove that's because of the Luck tree or if it's just them tweaking the loot table?

i cant.. and probually never will, Would be intrested to find hard facts on it, but unfortunatly "hard facts" seem to be more rare than bantha dolls

i can only see the loot tables shifting as far as Items in inventory go, but credits could be controled by a diffrent means, ahhh who knows.. i wont be taking the luck tree thats for sure, its not like i need to loot an extra 1k creds lol

That is the easiest solution for an occuring prob...since many ppl. going for the new fs-quests they have to kill many npcs/animals within a short period of time...havin lets say 20 master elite profession ppl. killing stuff to the cap would leave many dead bodies in the world...they havin allready probs by now with this thing cause imo the game will spawn more "non-mission content" when more players are in this area....so havin a higher spawnrate along with many dead bodies will cause some probs for the servers...time for more hardware i guess...
