No, this is bold-faced.
Bald-faced = brash; undisguised.
(Technically, both are correct.)

So perhaps Tiggs is right and we're not totally forgotten. Thanks for the sliver of hope.

Heh, you already have and I even believed you. Old habits die hard
As annelid0 said, both are correct -- this is one of those terms that's been used both ways for so long now that the dictionary makers have just given up and started including both versions.
For the record, however, the Oxford English Dictionary lists only "bold-faced," with the first listed usage coming from Shakespeare: "Prowd desire Of bold-fac't Victorie." (Henry VI, 1591) So if you prefer "bold-faced," you're certainly not wrong.
Another example of this kind of thingis "homing in" on something versus "honing in" -- the former is actually more correct (taken from military usage, as in "homing pigeon"), but the latter has been used so many times now that it's generally accepted.
You say "snowstorm," they say "windstorm."
(AndI say, "Why are you talking like Dan Rather?")

P.S. What the heck are you doing here at 11:00 PM? Go home!
Ugh..awake again in 5 hours....
Why am I here? Oh yeah, in order to go to sleep. What? Now I'm not even making sense to myself. I think I need to think before I type or even open my eyes to see what I'm typeing. Ah well, I'm sure nothing TOO bad could come of it. Crap...now I have to open my eyes to see the whole thing with the submit button and *ramble ramble*
Oh yeah, hello Tiggs!
