Block = Crap
I hate that Pikes get the worse defense.
First, it never works unless I use CoB.
When it does work, its crap, I notice no difference.

I'm totally willing to do some work on this tonight. I have a friend who is supposed to be on, and I'm sure would be willing to patiently punch me while I count numbers (and quietly sob). I'll see what I can do.

My friend wasn't on the past two nights, hopefully tonight I can get some testing of this done.

Block works????????
It does something, always has. The question is, what is it supposed to do, is it supposed to be stupid and not avoid all damage like counterattack and dodge, or is it somehow broken?

I'm about to start Pikeman myself, but reading through this and the rest of the forum it sounds like you guys are beta testing the profession for the Devs.
Surely thats a bad sign? Do the Devs honestly not know, or cannot comment on what the current system is?
"We've made a game, but we're not telling you how any of it works. Oh, and theres a possibility we've coded some parts of it wrong, but again we won't say and leave you guessing as to whether its intended or not".
That pretty much sums up some of the professions for me.
