what if your not a master pikeman yet?? can is till post ??im pike all the way as you guys ans gals..but not there eyt.. i just got sweep 1 when the kd nerf hit me.. so been grinding super slow now sicne i cant lastn a fight longer then 45 secs if that.

And now we have 8 Masters..if you are wondering why i'm doing this lil survey type deal it is to find out who is a Master on Servers so that others know we are out there and to not give up and if they need tips/training and such , I myself had to buy every single skill i had and it wasn't fun but i am DAM PROUD to be master =)... i know there are more of ussomewhere...

I know of 2 masters on Kettermoor.. met one last night..

Comments: I know of two other master's on my server, and one other that was a master and surrendered some of the skills for some CH. I do see more novice pikeman than i do master pikeman..maybe that just shows how few the overall % of the game players are mastered professionals hehe

Single Favorite weapon (eg, LVA,VL,L,RIS): LVA, despite it's accuracy issues.

Comments: Class is weak by itself, I would have never made it to master without also taking CH and Medic to compliment my melee abilities. Range is too low for our class, our defense is the worst out of all the melee's, we hit the slowest yet do the exact same dmg (per hit) as TK's. (Therefore we are easily outdamaged by TK's).

Suggestions:

Fix accuracy for our weapons across the board.

Increase our damage output to reflect the dmg we should be doing given our slow speed.

Increase our defense so that we aren't such a pincusion.

Decrease our ham costs.

Add an armor ham decreasing modifier to all elite melee tree's that gets better as you advance to master. This would reduce the amount of ham cost it requires to wear armor thus making it worthwhile to wear armor as a melee. Currently I do better in clothing then I do while wearing armor while ranges recieve a much greater benefit to wearing it. To me this seems backwards.

Implement a wider variety of available weapons to all weapon using melee classes. Preferrably through our stances and grips tree, at least 1 certification and new weapon per stances and grips skill bar and 1 weapon cert for achieving master.

Look over our weapon styles and uses, determine which are rarely/never used and replace them with more useful weapon styles.

I know at least 3 Master Pikemans on Starsider who didn't post here yet, PLUS me and a pal from my PA who are heading forMaster Pikeman too.

Could still take some time for me tho, I'm far from being a power leveler, I just do whatever I want to do, but getting to Master Pikeman is still my top priority. I love this profession to death.
