Okay, i only read like the first two posts so i'm just gonna give my idea. I think there should be one where it's like one of those scimitars on a stick kind of things...... you know?
they should make a long 2x8 also.... with a jagged, rusty nail sticking out on one end... AP3

seriously though i would love to have that weapon pictured.. would be the weapon of choice for most pikeman if they did it right!
we need something to counter the scythes and uber ackley crap in pvp. some lootedcan counter the higher minimium damages but we all know not everyone can afford it and i think this would be a great way to even out the competition for those pikeman who arent hoarding millions of creds.

that would be great if you could put acklay in a combat staff......... legendary acklay in combat staff = 900 damage ap 0kinetic weapon!! YEAH!!!! = better than a legendary acklay stun baton or power hammer.... also a great way to piss uber peeps off

Ive been saying cold dmg pike for the longest time, and that isnt too far fetched anymore with Hoth coming in JTLS.
Ap3 would make me soooo happy, but it wont happen, devs hate us.

I think it's only fair that the Devs create similar special weapons, like the Swordsman Scythe and Executions Hack etc, for us PIKEMAN.
There are so many cool weapon ideas out there to use,like the double bladed polearm etc.
Lets hope they make them worthy weaponsfor us to wield and not stuff it up

yeah double bladed sword or the 1 sided very long sword would be a kewl idea!
like they have in KOTOR YEAH!
swordsman get all the new weapons, pikeman , tka and especially fencer get noting!
...... we do have a NS NRG lance..looks great!

on the defense of swordsman though. the scythe has been on our skill sheet since day one its just recently has anyone been able to get the schematic for it. also the hack is a piece of crap and any true swordsman doesn't realy even give a damn about it. but yes the pikeman does need a new weapon and would realy like to see a spear of some sort may it be a naginata or a dual bladed pike. also lets not forget about the actualy force pike the crimson guard use. i figured that would be in the game from the start.

Ok, here's my bit:
We got 2 actual weapons to use LVA and VL, I mean yes we have the NSEL, but only thing its good for is...nothing? Axiv only spawns once a day and we need two identical vibro motors, which come from only Axiv Min (NS Elders?) And who actually uses a metal staff, reinforced combat staff, or a wood staff? Noobs? So I like the Double Bladed Pike. We should also get something that looks like the Lance that guy uses in Chronicles of Riddick (great movie btw).

Guys, instead of getting a cold AP2 weapon(why?). Why not change the electricity resists on composite from almost 80% on every set to like say a max of 20%. It would give one of our most useless PvP weapons a necessary boost (also BH's) and make us viable in PvP.
I don't see a way of justifying a weapon as dealing cold damage unless it is ranged. What, are we going to have a fridge in our backpacks to keep it in good condition?
Double bladed saber looks really cool, but if I get another worthless kinetic weapon I will scream.
