I picked up my first mind fire lance (mediocre one) yesterday...my first day actually trying to get dropped lances by clearing the NS slave camp twice.
Course I am a TKM which is how I could clear it, and my 4/0/4/0 Medic with Stims D's....spice....mind drink and mind foodkept me alive. 
It does help thatmy town's local weaponsmith is not the server's best known one. He sells the same damage sliced Pikes for 9K that the "known" weaponsmith sells for 50K.

well definitly don't have to be rich...........but certainly helps 
going to be spending 2.3mill on nse lance today, first one yay for me. o ya i'm master pikes i got a good lance 3.0 speed 668max and it only took me 2 buff sessions to get 2mill, and i'm wookie : )

to be an effective pvp pikeman, u must be rich...sorry. i am speedcapped and have some nice dmg lva's and those cost a pretty penny...for the casual pikeman, u can get off fine with good dmg scliced crafted weps as long as ur not pvping or competing for loot

what did you do to get 2 million in 6 hours of gameplay..?
obtaining money at rates like that have boggled my mind since I came back in June. *cough* so how'd ya do that?

doing mokk and janta missions out of dantooine at around 28K per mission.

Actually, if you are focused you could easily pull 1.5 mil in 2 hours, which would be about 4.5 mil in 6 hours.
...if you can stay focused for that long.

well ranger nizzle ur on my server so do as i do! go to dant, go to hurrton hollows since for some reasons the missions are always closer, and jus spam em. i started with rifle jus hittin lair but i found that hitting lair with area 2 was faster and safer for me, i can do em in about 1 min per. also i find swoops make it faster(since i had to walk 7k on dath cause ns killed my bike after my buff wore off thought me to stock up on bikes 
) also is 2.3mill a good price for a nsel stats: 3.7speed 437max i think unsliced with a max condit about 980 thx for input

hey all I'm a pikeman of 1143( working on master) and I'm a Cm of 2404 and I find that pikeman is and essential prof if your gonna be hunting in a group because there is area KD , and 2 other area attacks and about the weapons I agree but the LVA is a sick weapon PVE and so is the VL but there is another lance out there The Nightsister lance that u can have your weaponsmith make for u (if u got 15mill) its a great weapon because it hits hard and fast and deseases its a great PVP weapon and well about the armor I don't even wear my full comp suit (Chest plate, Boots, Legs, Helmet, Gloves) I save the rest when I do dangerous stuff IE GDK ,hunts rancors, Krayts and Gorax (and all the dangerous caves and bunkers) but to be honnest the money didn't do much I payed 400k all in all and thats for a full comp suit and all my weapons at this point and when I consider BH cost me 600k for my Krayt Scatter pistol

while we pay good money for good weapons, take a look at pistoleer forums.....then you'll see
