Look it all comes down to us not gettin g the support and power that we deserve. With all the tkms and **edit** pikeman dosent have a chance in the pvp world without DOT's with the way it is now. A nice heavy ap weapon or make the nsel worth a **edit** then we could drop dots on our weapons all together. But as I stated before it all comes down to our profession never being worked on like its supposed to be.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Now that DOT's are gone the real Pikemen step forward. We have irraticated the novice stances line DOT whores and have stepped into future. But now we have a new threat.. Swordsmen using us for defense! Will it ever be over!?!?

perfectly said antares.

i dont have the uber dots, just a 133 mind fire and some mind poisons, and i only use them when un buffed or have no other choice.

personally i think NS shouldnt drop DOT weapons, even the NS shouldnt have DOTs. NS should only drop dotless weapons, making pikeman less of a fotm and more skill based.

i can take down defence stackers no problem with DOTs, but i prefer to have them all removed and CM be the only doters in the game.

only exceptional weapons should have DOTs and only max 200 strength or something.

been a die-hard (literally) pikeman since I started this game back in January and I hate how it's turned into a fotm because of the dots. Dots were a half-a$$ed attempt to fix this profession. I agree, bleeds and fire from profession-based skills are fine but dots don't belong on weapons.

But will you stop using your DOT weaponswhen they do fix us? Didn't think so.

That's the reason most of us hate DOT users they prevent the devs from seeing the broken parts in this profession.

until armor gets nerfed or dots get nerfed/removed this will be the state of the game. dots will rule pvp. even though i have tons of dot weapons, i would cheer if the devs removed dots entirely tomorrow. it would enable me to use a profession and kill people as a result of my skill at utilizing the moves available to my profession, not my ability to equip my dot weapons in succession.

I'm not a pikeman I'm stuck in another profession that has no ability to deal damge to armored opponents other than through the use of its, and I'm itching for a change.

I do what I can within pikeman to win. I hope they fix tkm and pikeman damage, along with swordsman.

Personally I hate using dots... I find pvp a lot more fun when the fights can last for more then 6 seconds, but if I didnt usethem then I'd be defenseless against them.Only way to beat them is A Use dots yourself or B pick up doc. Since I have no interest in option B I'm forced to use dots in order to survive.

until the Devs do a major overhaul with the current system, there will always be a group of people that jump from profession to profession because of certain advantages theycan use that wasnever intendedby the Devolepment team.

unfortunately, the players that want to play a solid balanced game take a backseat when a company's main concern is profit.

If dots are a problem then whats to say they don't remove the flames and bleeds and then what do we have? An all out brawl, The dots will never leave the game. Thats like saying to take out buffs, it comes down to the money you pay for the perfect DOT lance.

And what's wrong with an all-out brawl? At least in an all-out brawl you can show how skilled you are with your weapon. With a DOT you only show how much money you had to spend and how well you can autoattack and switch weapons.Pikeman isa brawler professionthat means you want to brawl, not let some stupid DOT do all the work for you.
