Dropped smuggler to become a pikeman/weaponsmith when i got tired of slicing everyone's weapons on top of my own. Then dropped weaponsmith and was a pikeman/tkm. The made a pikeman/tk/fencer variety of a stacker type thing. Then was a swordsman/pikeman, pike/doc, pike/cm, pike/pistoleer, and most recently a pike/as

I gave up CH and Pistols. I actually never was planning on mastering Pistols, so I had loads of combat xp when I started pike. This was great because I took that tree up the first notch right away, and the second was real quick.

I am currently Master Ranger, and 4033 Pikeman. I will probably have to also give up all my medic, to keep ranger, but I enjoy that skill as much as I do Pikeman.

I gave up MBH and wanted to try a melee prof along with Master Carbineer....let me tell you, that combo was damn fun

Carbineer = ranged version of Pikeman

Pikeman was my first profession, well over a year ago. I dropped it while I tried other professions, but always had the intention of coming back, which I did.

Swordsman, wasn't high up in it before I dropped though.
