Forget the DOTs, if you're going to use pike against Jedi I strongly suggest 1k+ LVA, speed cap and at least 2000 medic.

If however you're just looking for a profession to kick a Jedi's ass and were wondering if this is the ideal one - it aint. Go for thefencerdefense trees withmaster swords,speed cap and acklay hammer. It's sad how fast capped 2h speed kills Jedi sometimes

This dude is right. Pikeman vs Jedi...gotta have medic skills, speed capped, with a bigass monster lance. Even so, its hard to do it in PvP, because they usually have help which gets....distracting. However, I've dueled knights one on one without dots and beaten them. Stacking Intimidate 1 and 2 really helps to cut into their damage (as does an Imperial PSG, since they'll have a "temporary" lightsaber resist), and then the game is just dizzy then, KD them, and spam that dizzy. I've got +25 accuracy, which also helps, but meh.

pikeman does alot of damage to jedi but also takes alot of damage from jedi but if you have a 900+ dam lance and eat the right food you should do fine if you stack some defences with pikeman you should own any jedi in 1 vs 1 unless they fr of

You need a really good LVA and catch him unprepared

I duelled this Pike/Rifleman and he used his 1.8k max exceptional LVA and I wiped the floor with him (w/ my Jedi)

Pikeman is hurt because it doesn't get the toughness that TKA/Swords gets.

I'd only hunt Jedi on my PIkeman if I had really good Mind Fire, because I know being hit w/ 200 Poisons doesn't do much at all.

i have killed a few jedis in my day, i use a 800 max non-decay pike (i usually pup it to around 1k max) im capped on speed with, i also use a 150 str action fire, trying to buy another around 250 str....i would say just kd+dizzy+fire+use either area2 or leghit (if you have an action fire or 2, leghit works good)

just make sure u keep the jedi intimidated or else you are as good as dead
