I disagree, killed an elder last night, a few k credits and 8 heavy duty clasps (stayed on her corpse). Luckily, I killed a ranger just outside the forced labor camp and got a +8 polearm evasion/+10 polearm speed CA not 3 minutes later. There does seem to be karmic balance in the game sometime, too bad I am 2-handed instead.

Also, got a NSL base disease (40 health for 1200, 8000 charges) a while back, but it has +25 polearm speed, +18 block. Damage is just the norm. Is there any interest in something like that? I typically loot a lot of base pikes, but sometimes they have 2ndary dots that improve them a lot. Never had any loots over 250 max damage or so for VL's.

ya those nightspider elders seem to do about 2-3x as much damage as ns and smc elders... hitting me for about 200-500 damage intimidated with 85% base armor. And that was with a ap0 kinetic weapon in her hand

i wouldnt say nightspider elders r any different from ns or smc elders ,they r just easyer for us as we can damage them,i go to the nightspider cave every day and clear it ,the elder does take me 15 mins to kill and she will take 4 k off my legs and chest piece but apart from that she is np.im tk,fencer defence stacked ,4-0-0-0 medic master pikes so i supoz that helps ,as does my 1340 max dam pike hehe

Gaurdians are 100% Electricity & Kinetic, You need a NSEL to take these out as well.

well everytime ive gone there she's hit me fore about 2-3k before armor when intimidated (thats what it says in my combat tab) so maybe im just really unlucky i have no clue lol.
