The HAM costs seem about average to me. I looted this one a while back, it has better damage and slightly better HAM costs.

I looted a nice one last night, dont have a pic of it and the stats go somthing like this:
11-256 dmg
2.8 speed
+7 accuracy to all
HAM costs: 15/40/15
Skill Mods: +10 to Counter attack
+18 to Polearm Speed
Disease DoT
Strength 40
potency 70%
Lasts 1200s
uses 8000
And I just got it fully repaired too 712/712
I cant wait to get this thing sliced.....
