All of em. Really. I carry a basic, the Vibro Lance and a Long Vibro Axe with me at all times. As you've probally seen the accuracy is nothing short of horrible with the VL and LVA, which will cause me to pull out the basic in a multiple low-lvl opponent situation. Speed, and HAM are most importaint as from what I understand acc is a waste in experimentation. HAM can be effectively sliced so I would focus on speed with a lil bit of damage and if your in buisness with a smuggler, contract him to slice em'. I payed 13k I think for my VL but your server might be a lil different economically. It was well worth it, woulda payed more in all honestly. If you wanna break it down to weapon type, basic needs damage and speed. VL needs speed and HAM/damage (one from slicing), LVA needs speed and acc, sliced for HAM. My 2 cent.

Reasons are the most obvious is dmg type, and acc problems. I always lead into a heavy brawl with my VL so I can be a lil better off in hitting my target. I try to place bleeds with my LVA, although when I miss twice (which I do, more oft than not) I switch back. And as I said with the basic, I'll pull that out when I get jumped by thugs (read 4 or more) or when I desperately need to land an area sweep.

So it's a tough line for pikes. I don't envy you and thats prolly why so many ppl don't really bother makin em. We miss alot, if there is any component that adds to acc use it and they will come. Speed balances with that, the less accurate the more swings we need to get off to make up for it. And for every other special which will prolly miss, we kick ourselves in the arse with HAM costs. Then again alot of people will pass up your weapons on vendor if they just saw another one that has even just 30 more damage.

Soooo....now that I've run myself in circles I wish you good luck. Keep in touch if youcombine anything amazing the pikes on other servers would appreciate the info.

Hey whats that WS using thats getting him in the -30's with acc? Is it strictly experimenting or specific resource/components?

well heres my thoughts ...

with a little trial and error you can always get better speed and better damage.

to me i was always interested in HAM and accuracy mods.

I would suggest sticking you extra experimentation into those areas because unless your customer is a master pikeman those will be the key issues to them. (of course ham will still be an issue)

Yep we/I use both LVA and VL..different damages is my reason..

So make both, and tell your Correspondetn to get on the Devs asses about the crafting bug that makesour range Mods so bad on our weapons that you make...its been that way since day one.

Not yelling at you BTW....

IF that gets fixed, I like low speed, and High damage, or high damage, and low HAM
