It was a long hard crawl to master, but now that I have earned that title I will keep it as long as I am playing this game. I am grinding the marksman profession right now and it is nice to have master pike as a backup. I love being surrounded by hacked off critters and pulling out the LVA and finishing the fight in 30 seconds or less.

I mastered pikeman the grinded a bunch and went through all the other brawler tree's, and then went back to pikeman....I missed it the most 
only took me 2 days to remaster..whats wrong with all you people?

You have a Dizzy, in fact, you have TWO! One is in Polearm Area 2, the other Polearm Spinattack 2.

I have come to love pikeman as well. Sure it has its flaws, far more than other professions, but its still very fun to play. I had my first experience today with pikeman in pvp. I stroll on into the imp outpost on dant since I am running missions and I failed to notice I had a TEF. Boom! My bike blows up! I am like WTH, then I notice a guy with a red name coming around the corner towards me with his flamethrower. First thing in my mind is that I am gonna get owned being only pikeman and smuggler. I quickly switch to my pike weapons pane and equip my 2.3 speed vibro axe and try to get a sweep2 to knock this guy down. Thinking to myself "Yeah right he aint gonna fall", first sweep down he goes. I switch to hit3's while he is getting up having a complete brainfart on trying to land a spin2 and dizzy him. By this time he little buddy swordsman comes around the corner but I am prepared, I spin2 get them both dizzy then sweep2 his buddy. Another key mistake I made here was not switching my attacks to the floppy fish on the ground. I then remember "oh yeah, I got all these pikes with poison etc!" I land 170 pt poison health and 197 pt fire health on them both (at least I think I got the second guy). The other guy gets up and is starting to wail on my head with his scythe and his buddy starts to kite considering I might knock him down again. Thats when I bust out my 511 max damage with 290 action poison vibro axe out and start hit3's hopefully to land a couple more in his diminshed mind bar. I was successful in taking him out and db'ing him but a couple seconds later his buddy finishes me off with a couple licks to my mind bar. The only other thing I failed to do that would have possibly changed the course of this was to have hotkeyed my 200 mind poison lance. Geez, and I thought I would never pvp, boy was I wrong. What a rush this was! I was even shaky after getting a bit of an adrenaline rush, knowing that this wasnt a npc I was fighting. Pikeman is great!

Looking at screenShot0330, I couldn't help but notice that you didn't finish off the MSE droid. Sloppy work. Shows a lack of professionalism. Shouldn't leave any witnesses.

I have to admit... Im one of the hologrind fools that just happened to get pikeman as my next skill. I have never had more fun with this game since I started pikeman. Its *edit*ing great! I have not been a fan of the stupid hologrind at all but I will have to give credit. Had I not been doing the grind I would have never even tried pikeman. GO PIKEMEN!!
Now if only I could hit something.............

I converted to pikeman from TKM and I'm never going back, Master Pikeman is way more fun. I don't even have very good pikes yet, I think my best is 375 max at 3.2 speed or something stupid, and I still do better in pve than as a tkm. I can't wait till I find some good loot drops and use them on some rebels.
This profession goes great with my rifle skills. I always get singled out in my group when I start firing my rifle with area dizzy, now when they charge me I just let them gather round and bust out my only DOT pike and hit the group knockdown. They are already dizzy and stunned by the time they get to me so it works out pretty good. I still rely on my rifle in pvp to do the dmg, but hopefully that will change soon when I figure out what the hell I can do with these sticks to punch through composite armor. In the mean time I still use my pike 80% of the time in pve and love it.
