It shouldnt matter what damage you use against Jedi. A Jedi has from 20 (Initiate) to 70 (MDef) innate Armor. Thats 2000 to 7000 resist in every resist-type. So, get a pike with high min and max damge, good speed and low SAC= Best weapon against Jedi (and TK).
I don't understand exactly why.. but I've had a number of Jedi with Master Defender tell me that they block energy better than kinetic.. Dueling with them with my Vibrolance vs. my Powerhammer has supported this almost consistantly. The PH has a litttttttle more max damage, but not so much I could realistically blame the different results on it.
Hmmm, maybe its your higher accuracy when using a 2-handed weapon?
Ooh actually that might be a good point. Didn't think about that.. I bet Swordsman does get superior accuracy though, being more geared toward offense.
