Thread: i may have just found the most valuable pikmen clothing attachment ever!

Thats why I am gonna find a armor attachment with taking cover 1 on it. Place it in a armor with 4 sockets THEN place the +13 attachment. Since two of the same skills dont stack on one peice of armor I will get thte polearm speed.
I did this with a +5 weaponsmithing / +5 wound treatment clothing tape and it did not work. I used a +1 wound treatment tape and had the clothing get bumped to +5 wound treatment. A friend did the same thing with a +3/+3 tape only he found a bonus higher than +3 for the second stat. This did work although it's not really possible to know if this just because he was lucky or not.

Someone on bloodfin was selling a +25 Polearm accuracy, last check it was at 6million.

Shul'en the damage goes right on top of your weapon. If you have a 130-500 weapon and attach a +4 damage to your armor, your damage will rise to 134-504.
Not much by itself but a +25 would be quite nice.
Oh, and I already told you, you don't want this. You want to give it to me.

now thats touche legwand...ok now that i c how it works i might just hold it for awhile incase i find another one...neways i found a +11 pole dmg on tempest...wish i could trade it to ahazi...arg

erh... you need to have the dual stat SEAs first stat to be lower then the initial stat on the first sockeded SEA.
That's what worked for my friend, yes. But the person in this thread was saying they were going to drop a +1 to block a +13 cover bonus.
Also in my experience it will always take the highest bonus on a two stat tape/attachment. So if you have a +25/+1 then there is no need to block the +2.

Ok the problem with this attachment and the one in the main thread is that because both skills are of the same value its a 50/50 shot as to which one will stick. You don't get both, only one.
If you were a rifleman/pikeman this would be an awesome attachment because no matter what sticks, you win.
As for the first one posted. If it was only polearm accuracy it would be worth about 25k or so.
The one posted above might fetch a few creds more from either a pikeman or a rifleman hoping to get lucky.
My advice would be to buy an ubese shirt or a mabori belt and drop the attachment onto it. Then sell the thing to whichever party comes out on top.

If you look at my reply I'm referring to the SEA in my quote, which is taking cover/polearm speed. Taking cover is a rifleman skill I'm almost sure of .. bro.
