Thread: State of the profession Rough Draft
I think it needs to be more negative to get it through their heads... and please use the word incompetent a couple of times as well.
Otherwise it's basically describes how they've just ignored us since the game started. Simple issues like the accuracy modifier which can be QUICKLY changed through a hotfix were totally ignored! Instead they nerfed knockdown >_<. They even said they'd fix the LVA VL certs and didn't do that, which would be extremely easy to do in a hotfix. this deserves a series of emoticons of frustration O_o;; @_@ >_< -_- and O_0''

You want us to speak l33t to the devs?
/salute
A thoughtful, well written, and well researched statement. Something quite unusual for most of these boards.
My only comment would be on the sentence,
"Please give us the specific information we need, we’ve been brushed aside with canned answers for too long, and can no longer accept them."
We can no longer accept them...or what? I would say that a DEVs answer would be, feel free to go do something else. Feel free to jump up a pole. Feel free to play pac-man. We have exactly no juice and very little, if any, say in how this game shapes up.
Hopefully this will do some good. It would be welcome, and about time.

I went through and edited the 2nd draft with the changes....I think reposting it would just take up space, so let me know what you think of it.
Sorry about the font guys, I wrote it in word, and when I copied it over, the font went screwy and I wouldn't figure how to get it back to normal font.
Try copying from word to notepad then to here.
That's what I do with long posts.

In conclusion, our class has seen some very positive changes, butcontinues to suffer from problems that should have been fixed months ago. We feel neglected and do not feel we should be made to wait anylonger to find out what is going to be done with our class to fix us. Please give us the specific information we need, we’ve been brushed aside with canned answers for too long, and would welcome detailed answers.
Thank you.

Its a good conculsion but I think it lacks Forcefulness...I know its difficult to be forceful with out being threatening...maybe try something along the lines of
"Please give us the specific information we need, we've been brushed aside with canned answers for far too long. We implore you to give us some specifics, for the sake of our class and sanity."
/sigh i dont know, that sounds horrible, but i think you get the point...if you dont you can just /backhand me and tell me to shut up...lol

Cursing just shows a lack of a better word to use...or a lack of intelligence...so lets keep them out...there are other ways of showing we mean business...but i do like the idea of putting your signature at the end...could give the recipiants a laugh, which would be good i think. Other then that, very eloquently put, and very balanced. Excellent job /bow
I actually thought the neg vibe was good. What was that quote from The Untouchables ... "You get a lot farther with a kind word and a gun then just a kind word"? Although in our case it would be a kind word and a stick.
Still well done all around Gunman, good job.
