Aside from looking very interesting and new, I think the Hack is a prety lackluster weapon.
It loosk cool. But brings nothing new to the table for swordsman.
Personaly i don't see any reason for them to need rare items to create it, other than the schematic anyway...

Only the original EHs were like scythes (the devs used the scythe as a template, it even uses sword cores despite being an axe which means it should use reinforced cores), it now is slower and has lower damage. But I do agree that it doesn't make much sense for them to have added it as there are better weapon alternatives to it.
