I mastered Artisan too, and took up weaponsmith on the side. As a weaponsmith is was difficult to "get a foot in the door" because the market is so saturated. So, I dropped it and took up architect and now I'm almost a master. The biggest moneymakers for artisans are personal extractors and vehicles. I don't sell much of either any more, since I've moved on, but it's nice to have "just in case". Plus being able to make high-quality extractors is good to have for any profession.

I just recently decided to try the powerup business to see if it's really as lucrative as I've heard. I've put up a factory and made some schematics for high-quality powerups. I've made about 50 crates, so I'm anxious to see how they sell on the market. Ifit fails, I'll just sell my factory and move on.

I can no longer sit back and allow Imperial infiltration, Imperial indoctrination, Imperial subversion and the interplanetary Imperial conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

I think the best way to make money as an artisan is to sell survey devices and crafting tools. Both are cheap to make. You can make them right away. And everybody needs them, even if they are not going for Master Artisan. I usually sell them for 1000 credits apiece and they sell like wild fire. I made some in a factory and carry the crates on me in a wearable container. The best places to sell them are Coronet or Theed where players really frequent. You can also sit around grinding them for XP and selling what you make at the bazaars. You can also do a search to find somebody who needs what you can make. Get to know other players. We all depend on each other. If you are just going to sit back and wait for people to buy what you have, then I recommend getting an elite fighting profession to complement any elite artisan profession. You can be pretty self sufficient if you learn to fight and craft too. Also, if you are training another player, know what materials they can use to advance in their profession. And you can also make supplies for other characters as well. For example smugglers need a buttload of survival knives to advance in their profession. Get a factory and make what sells. Fiberplast panels, crafting tools, mineral survey devices, and simple weapons. Then you will always have a steady source of income. Factory crates remove alot of tedious production.

Just sellresouces!

Get info on what resouces are most required and harvest the most of it. For instance, the dant herb meats (essential ingredients for docs) are selling at 50 to 75cpu at present (could be more after spawing in stop) and just imagine how much u can get for 100k while grinding xp! yep, it's 5 to 7.5 million.

Resouces have the best liquidity and could be used in a large variety of ways. Wish this help!

Yeah I think killing krayts and NS are the best ways I've found to make money, sell the loot and get things for yourself.
