I've never heard of an Ancient weapon either, but wt*... what idiot would start and AUCTION for an imaginary weapon? The people on that thread totally jumped down that dude's throat because he had a weapon that they had never heard of before. I do hope I'm not the only one that sees something rather wrong about that.

That thing is so obviously fake it's not even funny, the guy is probably trying to get a scam going. Probably trade it while it's in a bag or something. All nightsister lances have a health disease, regardless of quality. And doesn't the perfect uses on the DoT make you wonder?

I think its fake, but i dont KNOW that its fake. My instinct tells me that the DOTs look hand picked, the numbers (all of them) are too evenly distributed. I have never seen a DOT that has all 4 stats with such round numbers.
It's possible that this thing is real....but without the standard NS lance DOT, I just cant believe that picture that he posted. If it is real, then "Ancient" weapons arent very impressive. Hell, Ive seen much better DOTs and damage out of just exceptional weapons.
We shall find out soon im sure...

Interesting that the seller's forum name appears on a list of UO scammers in conjunction with someone named "Princess Leah". I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

VacaXXX I assure you that the weapon went into imperial hands, I made sure of that. You will all see the wraith of the Empires new weapon on the fields some time soon.

well, if i see the weapon ingame, i will have the balls to come back and admit it, but until then i am a skeptic,

i don't know if THIS pike exists but i can say to everybody that "Ancient" weapons do.
those legendaries weapsexist since the beginning of the game and the rumor say that no Ancient weapon drop anymore. since a patch.
And it's normal

And it's normal that no one or just a few have heard about those weapons as the drop rate may be like 1 / 10000000000000000!!!!!
And myself, if i loot one, i won't put it on aucction, i would keep it secret...

Anyone stupid enough to pay that much for something traded in a bag probably SHOULD be ripped off. Furthermore, I saw a looted Long Vibroaxe in a vendor with a crappy health poison DOT with a perfect 3000 uses just earlier today, so no it really doesn't make me wonder.
I'm not saying I blindly believe that weapon is necessarily real.. I know I'd make the guy prove it before I paid.. but its ridiculous to say it's fake just because its strange.

i talked to csr..they said they exist but arent useable...which means they dont exist and are useable =/

This was perfect 3000 was due to the fact that the lance used to be a -1 charge lance, the reset was 3000 for all of these.
