This was a patch a long long long time ago. It used to take forever to destroy a lair when everything was gone. People complained, so hey made it harder to kill the lairwhen it still spawned creatures and easier to kill when all/most of the creatures are spawned.

aww, memories. A long time ago a feww of us were on Dath and I forget why now, but I beat down a 64K lair with a looted wood staff without any polearm boxes trained. OMG is took like 30minutes.....lol

anyhow, best NPC damafge I ever did was 144XX to one of Maleachie's henchmen after a KD. /flex

lol once i hit for 50k(around there) on a baz nitch lair i was only using a 400 damage LVA

theres some kind of bug

I had screenshots of times before, when there was still the damage multiplier for KD'ed targets, I had smashed a KDed tusken for 10 or 11k - over-the-head value. Back in, I guess September or so of 2003, on a running trip to the Fort, the group I was in was talking about some damage numbers they had done, I mentioned I had done a 7k hit once - they laughed at me in disbelief and said the devs would never allow that. Later that evening, it happened more than once. Heh.
