I'm happy as can be that all my overpowered pikes are now in a more reasonable range. Plus I take perverse glee in reading posts about spending millions on weapons that later turned useless.

Nooo, theres no need to debate it.Devs stated that if you had a good weapon pre-CU. You'd have a good weapon post-CU.
So where is that good weapon now ?
By the time they figure it out i'll be a long lost customer.

Was about to post the same... Dev's should have said that "If you had the best LVA pre-CU, it would be the best LVA post-CU." Even that doesnt hold true when it comes to T21's because I know if I got a set of nice 150 dmg tissues, which aren't that hard to come by now, I can surpass my converted Exceptional T21 even though it is 54 Master Rifleman cert.
Pistoleers are up in arms about their DE-10 also, which WAS Master level certed pre-cu and now is bumped down to just CL 54, DX2 & Republic took their places. Featherweight FWG5 that you got for 10k on a vendor are better now than most DE-10 out there, and those lucky to have nice DX2's or Republics converted even better cause of the master box requirement.

Heh, one of our guilds smugglars had a very very nice DE-10 that she spent a few creds on. Post CU her DL-44 that she spent 7k on came out with better damage.
She did have to laugh though
