I am so glad that Thunderheart can reply to his "In Concept" and "Weekly Discussion" right away but takes a week (mind you, he said he would reply to this thread in that time) for this thread but then totally disregards it as if it's nothing. I amdelighted to be paying 15 dollars a month for this kind of service!

i bet if we emailed the devs and said were cancelling our subscriptions unless they give the pikeman some love it would get their attention.

I think a lot of you all are forgetting two things:


1. For every Pikeman out there and in here that hates the profession and resents wasting their time on a weapon skill that is grossly underpowered, there's someone else out there who loves being a Pikeman. They just don't have near as much of a reason to come whine on the forums as the people who are dissatisfied, so don't go thinking you represent the community or anything.


2. "Hybrid" is a word that can be used in more than one way. It's not Thunderheart's fault that you can't read the comment "Pikeman is a hybrid profession" in it's context and understand what he meant. In-game lingo shouldn't replace reading comprehension.



I'm not saying there's nothing wrong with the profession, or that TH shouldn't have used a synonym of hybrid to say the exact same thing. But there's way too much non-constructive and childish whining going on, and far too many undeserved attacks at TH.
