this looks like a question for the FAQ thread! Although some might think otherwise, I would suggest you get your stances first, then defence and last areas...

Listen to the wiseman thats what I did and it works great. Cause if you have any combat xp from before you get extra acc and then add speed means things die faster... faster you kill it the faster you get xp

I'm a TKA Master, and god, your right, we (Pikeman)can't hit for sh*t. Something seriously wrong with that.

Don't jump down my throat, I'm dropping TKA and doing Pikeman (not because of holo) but, because, on Wanderhome, I've only ever heard of like 10-20 people doing it.

I'm a Master CH, got that today, but, god, I have to say again, we suck.

I started Pike for the holo but Im enjoying it a lot and am going to keep it if I can (although I will probably get the meditation line of TKA as well).

Accuracy does suck at lower levels but now at 4-0-2-2 I rarely miss and seem to be hitting the speed cap. HAM costs are now my problem.

Go up the stances tree first for the speed mods and the area attacks.

For fast XP I love Savage Quenker missions on Dantooine, find a small player city to base out of (less other players attacking your missions), geta doc buff (and ideally a dancer/musician buff), strap on your 80% kinetic composite, jump on your swoop and head out.... I was getting 200k xp an hour yesterday like this.

I have 300k combat xp stored from TKA Master, I was busy killing things for my pets, cause they NERFED CH. Yes, I said that nice and loud, so they could hear. NERFED CH. So, I guess, it's support, as soon as I get it, then whatever the left hand column is, since, I'm basing it off TKA *hides from all the haters of TKA* and going for speed, since I'll have the accuracy. I know, I'll get my butt kicked, without the other moves, but, I think it's possible. And, I'll still have my med 4 *runs off*

You have enough combat xp saved up to get the first 3 combat xp boxes for pikeman.

Once you get novice pikeman and the first accuracy box you will start to hit much more.

Well, that's at least, a bonus, I thought I was going to suck for the entirity of the profession.

Thisfirst partgoes out to mainly any Master Pikeman, the second part, Wanderhome Pikeman.

What melee powerups, do you suggest I obtain to make my life easier, and, if so, who are good vendors on Wanderhome.

If you could, keeping 2xx4 TKA would help you tremendously as a pikeman. Or Master Brawler.

I had almost mastered Pikeman when I first started off as a Rifleman/Pikeman... but 1 box away from mastering it I had totally dropped it to follow another path... Only to find myself on silent profession and doing it all over again. How Ironic. But I still Enjoy it like I did before except the Ham Cost still hurts ALOT lol. Move up the Special abilities and Boom you can hit things again. I am 0-0-0-3 right now lol

use your combat xp to get to 0-0-0-3

Then advance up to stances 4 for the increased speed. From there just do whatever. My advice for powerups is speed power ups all the way. Hit fast and hit hard!
