Hello, just wondering how much it takes to cap polearm speed and what does it usually cost to cap?

At +92 speed or so, I have yet to see a weapon that isn't capped with every attack (at least no weapon you'd want to use). Cost? Hehe. Master Brawler, +Master PIke, + FS melee speed= capped.

get +100, youll see why when you get it
Anything above 95 is wasted. I've yet to see any polearm that won't cap with that speed.

I´ve got 75 polearm speed + 12 SEA+ 12 FS Enhanced Melee Speed= 99 Polearm speed
Getting close to 100 polearm speed is only necessary if you are using slow loot Pikes (i.e. spd 5.5 max dmg 600 action poison 260 str)
But if you´re using good crafted Lances with dmg slice i.e. VL with spd 3.9 and LVA 4.4 polearm speed around 88-90 is sufficient

I'm saying that's pretty much the case, yes. You'll be at absolute cap with any pike 4.1 spd or better at 92 polearm speed. If you wanted to get a bit more, findinga couple of+1 SEA's can be done relatively easily, and cheaply, often for the 6k creditcapor less on the bazaar, if you are patient. There is no need to go out and spend millions on a high end SEA if you have that skill set. With most pikes, you'll be so close to capped at 92 speed, you probably won't notice much difference even if you do go out and get those attachments. Finding melee p'ups that grant 15% spd is generally easy enough, allowing you to cap with any pike 4.8 or faster without the need for further enhancement. I wouldn't worry much about it, unless you happen to loot some amazing high damage or DOT pike that you want to use.

i have +18 speed, and with my 3.7 speed, and I seem pretty capped.
example:
sweep 2 followed by about 4 area attack 3's and a mob of 10 stormtroopers is dead in about 2.5 seconds.

The easiest way to see if you're capped with a particular warspoon is to go to options and turn timestamping on. Then use polearm hit3 a whole bunch of times on one thing until you think you've hit it enough. 10 would do fine (a lair would work well for this). Since polearm hit 3 has that annoying message about not lowering the posture of a target, it comes up in the spatial and you just look and see if it appeared every second. If it does, yaay! Have a cookie. Or you could check that whole DPS thing that exists somewhere. Just my 2 cents.
If I typed wierd at all in this I'm sorry. I realize I said warspoon, but this is what happens when you give up trying to type waepon right and you didn't sleep the night before. So yes, this post only pertains to warspoons. I'm a Spoonman, dealer of death via warspoons!

I am speed capped and iv noticed on my timestamps on someoccasions I can pull off two area attacks in one second, I will see if I can find a SS of this or make a SS if not to show.

Pretty spiffy calculator there in general, but it looks like it uses the incorrect time and damage mods for pikeman that have been floating around forever. The slowest delay mod it lists is 2.5x, while we actually have several 3x delay mods.
Use the link in my sig for correct mods.
