I like being Pikeman, and yes i agree we need major help. But i like being few and far between. Makes me feel almost like a jedi-LOL. The only hardship we have is find a Master pikeman or someone higher up to help train us for free . I am a wookiee pikeman so i have a little advantage in HAM but as for armor i have none so i had to pick up CH just to survive. i am cool with that though. Wookiees make good CH's. As you can tell i am at work and ever bored.ok enough rant for now peace fellw pikers

piker is singular.. pikies is plural.. i was refering to one! so again.. i am correct. but alas, if i was referring to more than one, you would be correct.. so in a way, we are both right.. but the class still shouldnt be referred to as pikers.. we are Pikesmen, or maybe even Gimpsmen..

I love being a Pikeman (pikesman?). Hehe. Somebody actually said to me the other day: "Wow! Pike? What are there...like three of you?"

Felt good in a strange sort of way.

ive actually had people pick up the pike profession because they see me with it and they "admire" my work. i get PMs occasionally wondering where people can meet me at so they can get training. if only someone could train me just one time, heh.

pike is cool, pike is fun....but at the same time, pike sux, and pike is annoying......just wait it out i keep telling myself.....just wait it out.....

they where called pikey as singular and pikeys as plural i misspelled it at first. so you see you are wrong. trust me i own the movie! LOL what server are you on

I like it too! Except that it is kinda getting annoying when people say "Cool sword!" when I am using my lance...

I hear ya. i consider my CH skills my main skills and my pikeman backup until the fix the class. I would love to drop CH and pic up a better skill but i cannt make it out there with just CH skills. And i hate fighting with guns.

Unless they add ounts and being able to use pikeman while on the creature like calvary. OMG that would be awesome i bet people would then flock to our profession like mad rapid sheep! Then we could get the class fix quicker than you can say, "wow pikeman really did suck as a profession." LOL well maybe its not all that bad!

Im also a Wookiee, and also a ch (I actually amed for pike/ch before i knew i needed it,Im only a ch because i love doing it -- I wouldnt do it just to be good -- cause if I was like that I'd be a bh or a commando..not a pikeman)

BTW - is it just me or did we loose our taming bonus as Wookiees, we used to have it in the skill mod list - but now it's gone - beware the silent nerf

either way....we rock, it'd be nice have some pike buddies on Radiant, I never see any others

I'm with ya. I like Pike. Don't always like to admit, but I like it. Couldn't even fathom being a different sort of fighter. Maybe we get better, maybe we don't. Someone, in a previous post was talking about how fun Pike was while being buffed with 2k stats. Well, I guess anything would be fun then. You could probably win a fight with a cake pan.

On a differnt note, for Pikemen (plural forms really have no meaning, since there are like 3 of us) on Flurry, Pillshovel makes Pikes. He had some in his shop with LESS than -50 to hit. Anyone else seen any? First for me.

I like my chosen profession, I just wish there were more on Corbatis so I can gewt free
training. I met one Wookie, but that was it.
