He had the AS community spam a devs inbox rather than go through proper channels (TH/Tiggs e-mail, corr forum). He broke a rule and was removed.

So errm.. at what point did the Armorsmith community decide this was an *intelligent* thing to do, and why is anyone surprised about the repercussions of it? I've said it before and I'll say it again.. idiocy should be punishable by death.

Well i do understand.

AS's are getting it up the butt. FUTA if you will (figure it out we're smart people) They're taking away alot of the things that made AS "fun" and challenging (fun because i don't find it fun)to make it easier for new subscribers that jump on the bandwagon for ep3.

Watch prices of armor are going to sky rocket guys. resource requirements have been changed and that means that the hordes of resources that current AS's have stashed away will be worthless. Just so that way new AS's have a chance to be on the same level as the veteran AS's. Just a matter of the cash flow from new subscribers then people who have been around for a long time.

Devs' weren't listening. The corr. took action for what he felt he needed to do.

The resource requirements changed in beta for like a few weeks. Based on what the players said I believe, the devs changed it BACK to OQ/SR instead of the OQ/UT on beta. READ: THE DEVS LISTENED TO THE PLAYERS AND CHANGED SOMETHING BASED ON POPULAR OPINION.. THIS HAPPENED *WEEKS* BEFORE THE CORR GOT FIRED.

still. its become more about the pvp'rs and loot whores than crafters. SWG used to have the most intricate crafting system. Now its being simplified.

*sigh*

whatever.

Well, we all have our complaints about the new changes. But really.. Is there even a single armorsmith on TC yet? Has anyone actually tried it? Put the theory into practice? Or is everyone just guessing on what will/will not be possible with armor. I have armorsmith friends who frequent the Armorsmith forums telling me that everyone is just completely whining and freaking out about it, that it isn't going to be as bad as they all think.

Compared to all the other times the Devs have ignored us?

Face it, if our opinion mattered, this game would have been fixed a year ago.

Um, there is master ASs on TC now. They are the one's giving us the schematics and informing us of the new resources requirments. They have added 20+ new named resources that will be needed after the CU.
People have also been testing armor and have found out that it doesn't actually do anything at all for you. You are just as good without it.

Most AS feel that we are being made into a glorified tailor. Personally, if things stay the way they are, it will take about a week to get the first runs of armor out the doors. Doesn't really matter though, don't really need it.

I'm sticking with it because I love AS that much. If this is what they want to do, then I will work with it. If it is too boreing, then I will drop it. No biggie, I love this game too much to let all this crap drag me down.

I hear ya Elood. I'm not an AS, but an architect. The last patch cut my business and a lot of other Architect's businesses as well because now your house or harvesters will never go away so long as you have a credit in the bank.

But I love architecture, thusI stick with it andride it out. If you like the game you work with it. If you don't, then you won't.

But I'm also a pikeman at heart, and hope they do it justice.
