I don't know why the devs would bother putting a poll up like that.. these forums are a horrible cross-section of the SWG community and thus you cannot possibly get accurate results. Sure, like 90% of the people who've voted wouldn't recommend SWG to a friend, but isn't that why they're on the forums in the FIRST PLACE? To b1tch about the game? Everyone who likes it is playing. Another thing the forum trolls here frequently overlook: we forum users are a minority of the players in the game.. many don't even realize these forums exist, or could care less.

well, i said no for one reason. . . the other day, a friend of mine finally got a comp that can run todays games. . . and he said, im gonna get SWG and WoW, and i said well, you know things are crazy over here now. . . jsut get WoW,
i actually bought it myself, and so far it is pretty fun . . . .
im actually taking a break from this game to level up to about 60 in that game and check out all the stuff they have. . . . I will be back tho', theres just something about putting all this time into a game, and meeting all these really cool people, that I hate just throwing away..........
the only reason i didnt reccomend it was b/cause i wasnt sure what was gonna happen. I dont mind wasting my money, but someone elses is different.........

sadly as we all know...the poll is usless and SOE is still blind to how many people dislike what this game has become.

All of my encounters with customer service ended happily. In fact a few were downright impressive.. like getting an issue cleared up by a very cooperative and festive CSR 5 minutes after filing the ticket.
Look, I don't like the fact that corporations are driven by profit incentives either, but if you expect them NOT to be, you need to lower your expectations. Sony is a corporation. A big one. They want to make money, and under this lovely system of capitalism we all so adore, that's supposed to be OK.
Heck, at least SOE has little polls and stuff at least trying to make it LOOK like they care about the user. I bet there's 10 huge corporations making the stuff going into your computer and the games you play on it.. how many of them even pretend to care? Is there anyone here who doesn't have something from Microsoft on their PC? Do you think they care about you? Don't even get me started on them.

I dont pay any attention to those polls, its clearly just someone continually voting number 1, has been the same for each poll. They wont show the results to the survey at the end of the game and id expect that to be alot more truthful than this. Based on the fact that most of the people who ive spoken to on the TC servers like the CU. And most of the people who dont like it are the ones who're whining about losing their uber dots/ls psgs e.t.c. Bassicly people who havent really put hard work into the game learning alot about it, instead theyve just got a uber weapon and hit people with it.

Another thing, if the CU is so bad why are their so many people on the TC servers? The lag is a good thing, it means alot of people are playing. I dunno about you people, but i was tired of the old game. I was tired of being able to solo everything, tired of having to get buffs or being a sitting duck. Age old saying; give something what they want all the time and they get bored easily, if theres cookies in the jar you dont want cookies anymore. In my opinion people had it too easy for too long, i remember back when it took at least a group of 10 people to kill a krayt, ranger, ch, commando e.t.c

Its not that there blind, all they care about is money and the only reason they're releasing the CU is because they think that in the end they will make more money. They don't care about you, me or anyone else in this game.
