i think people need to calm down when they cant master their profession in a couple days or weeks, look at other games, like everquest or something, where it would take months to get high level, or over a year even, a couple years to really get into the high level game and good gear, in this game it is taking people like a few days, or a week or 2 to get into some master professions, and even if it takes you a month or more to get master pikeman, a month isnt a long time, i think alot of people just need to calm down and enjoy the game more instead of grinding and grinding and complaining they cant get to master in a week, pikeman do alot of damage, and i think we are some of the coolest looking fighters just watching the fights go on with our moves, if you really think pikeman is that broken, look at commando, we got it good, at least our weapon are doing a hell of alot of damage, we werent meant to be able to solo everything in the game, so no need to complain if sumthin kills you, think people just need to settle down and enjoy the game more as a whole, and not cry over every detail, thanks...=)

I love being a very rare combat class and it's hilarious when someone duels you and stays close while you accept (1200 damage = Victoly!). The problem with pikeman seems to be that until you reach the higher levels of the pikeman profession, you are resigned to fighting the Star Wars equivalent of bunnies and rats. When my PA wants to go out slaughtering dirty rebels, or even teaming up on some giant beasts, I cannot participate. While they stand behind their tank pets and fire their blasters, I have to get up-close and personal with the Giant Maneating Acid-Spitting Radiated Poison Death Spider from the 5th Circle of Hell. Even if I do manage to get a few hits in, I get corpsed before I can run away and I get no xp.

So, I understand that it is going to take some time to level up... but you must understand that it is frustrating to see marksman-level pistol users raping the land for XP while you go out and run those [sarcasm]omgexploit[/sarcasm] diseased nuna missions.

Would you belive I was in the Med Facility and was sitting down with 5 pikeman at once. Couldn't believe it.

Woah! What a freak occurrence... I've added all the pikemen I've met to my friend's list, and that now totals 2. It would be fun to run a huge group of pikemen off on a hunting mission on dantooine

Funny, yet cynical. Are you not having fun out there? Sure I miss a lot just like everyone else out there, and it get's me mad. But generally, I have fun with it anyways
