Let me first say that I don't have much use for grinding. I prefer to just "play" as I feel that day.

For example, I'd say 19/20ths of the time I've played this game, my gun has been holstered just exporing or looking for rare babies, etc.

But, my play time has been seriously curtailed due to work lately. I need to make SOME progress in order to group effectively with my friends again on the harder planets.

Could someone suggest a place for someone that JUST cracked the pikeman tree to get some rapid advancement assuming I have a pet to tank and maybe armor coming? Not a macro to get it all in 12 hours or something.. just some tips.

I know it sucks to feel someone wants to grind out your profession, and I feel badly asking. But, I'm really struggling to advance at a rate that will see me useful before 2005).

#2 Go to Dathomir and kill Chickens(Either by the 11k creds missions or just hunt them in the wild)

Get buffed, go to Dant, wander around until you find a *wild* quenker lair and just work the lair. If you do the lair right, you should be able to get at least 25-30 quenkers, each giving about 3k exp when grouped with a pet.

If you want something easier to do without buffs, go find a mountain worrt lair (preferably wild) on Tatooine. When grouped, each Mountain worrt gives about 2k exp, and they are not social, so very easy to handle solo without buffs. Muon would help if you want to work through them quickly (assuming you heal yourself) and not have to wait for your mind to regenerate.

Like stated get buffed and do savage quenkers(4k ham) for 3k xp each. Baz nitches on dath are also good but not as easy as quenkers and theres always fort tuskan(that is when its not camped).

I get 1k per mountain wort ungrouped with my pet.

You're saying I get more when I am grouped with it?

And do savage quenkers poison?

I assume they /assist each other?

grouping with you pet will add more xp. And do quenkers poisen eh i think they do...but i have yet to be poisened by one...

I have been getting buffed, loading up on spice and hitting Dantoonie. I do huurtonn huntress lairs. They attack two at a time and have a HAM of about 8k. They give 3563 xp points a piece and there lair about 3953XP. I racking up over 100XP points an hour. I discovered this about four days ago and i am more then half way thru with the pikeman tree. I should hit master with in a day or two. Good luck to you.

I like the way you approached this forum. I did this for fencing and it worked so much faster than all the methods I tried. Do as the other posters have said. Get a Doc Buff on all 6 stats. Buy a crate of some of the new foods out that help the mind stats. I heard of valarian brandy as well as others. A crate of muon gold would help too. Go to Dantooine Imperial Outpost. Pull out your weakest pet or droid. I used my non ch kadauu. Take it somewhere out of everyone's way and tell it to stay. Group with it ( i think you get like 500 more xp). Then while unarmed (I got closer missions)pick missions in same direction for Savage Quenkers (they do not poison or deathblow pretty sure). The missions were 6800 to 6900 credit range. Each savage quenker was around 3800 xp and lair about 4900 xp. You will almost never have to take on more than 2 at a time. If you see a non mission quenker lair on the way to these missions by all means take it on. I do believe the normal quenkers do deathblow and their xp is about 2500 per. Relic quenkers are tough and do poison or disease (can't remember)..xp for em was around 4500-4900. Now it will take a while but stay with it. Do both missions then boom pick 2 more while on speederbike, rinse and repeat. Good luck to you, you can do it.
