we should share tips with each other so here are some
use intimidate[the brawler ability] alot
it cuts off dodge/etc, lowers secondery defences and reduce nearly 50% of the damage.
use area2!!it stuns and dizzy, stun reduce damage aswell lowering secondery defences, stacked with intimidate your target is nearly defenceless!

save 20mil and get a 350+ str mind fire. 
Pike rips up in PVE but it PVP its very hard if you dont have dots.

hehe, i must be the luckiest pikeman alive or something...
Bought a 260 str mind fire pike (87% pot) for 900k

How about being a speed capped Pikeman, with no DoT pikes?
Does being able to attack every second (even with specials) help out in PvP at all?
I realize that we are still only dealing Kinetic or Electricity (both heavily reduced by armor in its current state).

I have a 300 - 1k dmg LVA, I am capped on speed, and yes its good, but i prefer to use mind fire straight off, kd them, then posion, then intim,wack at them with the dmg LVA.

landing a dizzy state with a pikeman is more easy than eating brekfast , then i have to got through the carefull process of sweep , hit3, sweep, as soon as kd'd cancel the queue 
of course , mind fire is always used before that, and htis nice little poison lance with 260% potency wha ha ah ha ha hah, negate that mr nerfstick !

i usualy look for spd slice pikes since im not capped on spd. . .but im too poor to afford a mind fire pike =(
so any tips here i would love to hear, i haven't started to attempt pvp w/ pike yet
