With the patch approaching, not only will Combat Medics be affected but so will Pikeman. For all you uber pikeman whose sole purpose of winning in PvP is your dotted NS lance with uber mind poison and disease.....well your day is soon to come to an end me thinks. I for one am happy about this and hopefully loot that benefits our profession become affordable again.

You're happy that Pikeman will have to search even MORE for good PvP weapons...?

Fire was always where the strength was at. The poison/disease innoculations really don't affect Pikeman at all, its aimed directly at CMs. If anything, we'll only attract more people wanting the I WIN button.

Exactly. The primary impact of the CM nerf on pikemen is going to be that fire becomes even more desirable. All the CM/riflemen will just pick up mind fire lances and turn into pikemen/riflemen because it's the last DoT left without an effective balance (fire blankets aren't enough).
Expect to see most of the "nerf CM" posts replaced with "nerf pikeman" posts.

it just means that even MORE people will go pikeman, because anything over 100% potency basically only has a 5% chance to fail, and we still have fires...
Look to see former CMs picking up the stick....

Fire this fire that, some of you act as if you can go to your local vendor and purchase one of these lances or LVA's "a decent one of course". To get one worth while using is gonna cost you a arm and a leg and soon to go up in price after the nerf. So yes the leet pikeman will be those who posses thefire butbut that would only reflect maybe 10-20% of the pikeman you encounter who actually have aMind Fire pike.Who cares aboutHealth andAction fire pikes...granted theyare still useable in certain situations they will never be as demanding asa pike that can target a non-healablepool. With Night Sisters now being difficult to farm for loot, your gonna definitelyput in time to find the good stuff.

or, like most PvPers, these CMs will have millions of creds at their disposal, and will jack up the prices even more...

lol...poison/disease needs nerfed, but you'll carry this around. And at that say you'll entertain 15 mil offers, but you want the proffesion to have cheap looted weapons again. Way to set an example...loser.

First of all know what your talking about before you call someone a loser...mind fire in general is expensive. Just because I wouldnt take no less than 15mil doesnt make me a overpriced individual, maybe its because I dont wanna sell it but if someone is stupid enough to pay that much then so be it.....dont hate me because your jealous.

I'm not jealous at all ask anyone on ahazi...I've got my Dot's. I'm sorry loser was a bit harsh, but the contradictory statement kinda got to me, you want cheap loot butyou say this price on your lance is 15 mil...whats funny though with the crazy economies is that you could prob get even more for it. But then again anyone can hunt for awhile with some good friends and loot one of their own. My apologies again.
