Nightsisters are getting their force powers back.
I love a challange and miss the days of being ripped off my bike by a force KD, and acctually being scared about approaching anything that has a spell weaver in the spawn.
BUT, markets will be shattered, and the bridge between those who have, and those who have not will get larger. I see more people taking up medic again, and warcry will certainly come in handy.
Prices are going to be sick, although it seems I be able to drift back to my original template now, no more elder soloing
Good luck, may the force be with you, and when its not with you, run

From what I heard in htis new publish the NSs get their force powers back. Good, that is the way it should be. Many people complain about the game not being "star warsy" enough. This is one of the first steps. :-)

All NPCs actually use weapons again, and it's about time. This was a core problem with the game that they ignored for months and months. Seriously, one publish and all NPCs only fight unarmed, and they let this go for months...why they took so long I'll never know.

I do fear the high end game becoming ludicris, DWB, Vette etc.
I wonder if the brokedness was a convinent marketing ploy to help the rush of newbies that we got become acclimated into the game in a relatively easy pace. I can't imagine that code that was already present would be too difficult to fix. Back to the 12 person Elder fight rings, the paced trading of aggro, and the docs running around like mad men trying to get everyone back on their feet.
Back to the rifleman...And back to the elitist pikemen who have been able to loot the exceptionals during this time of relative calm.
Guild runs are going to become the norm again, I'm glad for that. The damage as we all know has already been done though.
I really hope they have a step by step plan once things start getting scaled back. I also wonder how this will affect armor prices. Buffs will certainly become either lower in qual or more expensive. The reprocussions will hit just about every profession save DE. All those old time CH's better dust off their pets.

I think it's a good thing, auto-attacking nightsisters were boring. But this will also show pikeman's weak defenses even more. It wasn'ttoo hard to survive against a bunch of Rangers when you had 80% kinetic armor and they were auto attacking, but when they use force powers, the low toughness and block is really going to kick pikeman in the teeth again. I'm not sure if I was a pikeman when the NS's lost their force powers, but I remember even Rangers being tough as a rifleman/tkm when they had their powers.

Trust me bro, we are dusting off the pets, and the BE's are warming up there clone machines too. This is pretty much what we have been waiting on to a degree. I'm working on Pike right now, but if it comes down to it, I'm heading back to rifle or carbine. But till I find out I'm going Pike.

I cant wait to get choked by a NS
Maybe since the soloing will be toned down, the rate of good drops will increase? My guild does regular NS Hunts too so im pretty excited about it. Prices on any loot are going to rise like crazy ( dwb, vette ). I wonder how many ppl it will take to kill Axkva?? This will be interesting

Are you sure this is ingame? I went on a nightsister hunt yesterday for about 3 hours. Fought everything from initiates up to protectors. The only thing I noticed was a nightsister stalker pulled a lance out just before it died, first time I've seen that. I remember back when nightsisters used force power and I didn't see anything remotely close to that.

Supposed to be fixed tommorow.
Ohhhh the crowds tonight, mobs of people trying to KS elders, junta missions galore, I'm almost positive Dant (on Lowca) is going to implode with all the people running their missions. Hehe, the people that have been low balling their crystals will be crying in a week or two.

Hehe I remember being sooo impressed the first time i saw NS using force powers! Not to mention a friend of mine and myself led a spell weaver to the imperial prison just so we could get rid of her as we could not damage her. Good times that
