Thread: Our Question for TH's 19 Q/A Thread.
Why did SOE put off their answer to it all, the combat revamp, and why should we continue to play a profession that SOE has continued to ignore time and time again, when we do get attention the fixes are half @ssed and do no good, the ub3r-lewt weapon schem we get sucks and is near impossible to get, let alone now fighting with TKMs for the vibro motor units,
while the complete combat system is in shambles with stun damage and DoTs being the only way to win pvp now as well as mind attacking, and yet the privleged few, Jedi, are put AHEAD of the rest of the game thats not supposed to be about being a Jedi in the first place and when it was said that looted weapons would not be as good or important as the player crafted ones,
this is truly a disheartening time filled with empty promises and no hope in sight, your response SOE?

all I meant, was at the time I made the thread, you wernt around..its was late at night. But also.
You really should have polled the community on this, I my self dont care about the NEL, I know others do, but we may have come up with a better question. Next time maybe you can poll some questions.
Honestly, from what I’ve read over the past few weeks, everything, including Axkva Min's spawn/drop's will be put off until the elusive combat balance, which is all well and good. When is it going to be? A month? Two months? Six Months?
In my guild, in the last two days, 3 senior members that have been around since before October have quit the game. Why? Because SOE does jack sh!t to fix the problems that are already IN the game, they just care about getting one more person's 15 bucks by throwing new content out there. There’s nothing being done to keep people that are beginning to get frustrated with the game, in the game.
I really don’t give a flying *edit* about being able to "detonate" my droid, remote survey, get cooler effects in the cantina! All I want is for the things that are already in the game to be fixed. Some things that are on my list: NS Vibro Motors; Axkva’s spawn; your stomach not emptying when you die; Pikeman becoming an great tank like everyone wants it to be, with the sacrifice of speed.
Me: When is all this going to ACTUALY happen?
Devs: The Combat Balance will solve all of the above issues
Me: When can we expect the Combat Balance to go live?
Devs: Well, parts of it are still In Concept, and will need to be tested before implementation
Me: Grow a backbone and just tell us that none of you have actually bothered doing anything about our elusive Combat Balance that will keep old friends in the game, and just admit that for the next few months, every answer to every problem from a profession you don’t like will be put off until the All Powerful, All Inclusive, Combat Balance.
Devs: All players are treated equal in the game, regardless of profession
Me: Explain TKM's, Rifleman, and CM's
Devs: All problems with the above professions will be addressed further in the Combat Balance
---interview terminated---
I’m coming to realize that something’s will never be fixed in the game, and unlike what was originally thought, that the Dev's and SOE would put their best effort into providing an ever evolving, ever improving game that will have people stuck for years, is a total fallacy. All SOE is concerned about is getting another person to shell out $15 a month, hoping that their problems will be fixed in the next publish, another month and another $15 later.
I still believe that SWG is the best MMORPG out there, but as it has been noted before, SWG wins the award for the years best "Coaster" because that’s all we're doing, Coasting from one publish to another.
