Can someone explain the speed and how it works and all aspects in its entirety? Thanks.

for example: if i have a 1.7 pistol with a 50 speed mod, will it take it down to 1.0 sec cap. because 50% of 1.7 is .85, which would take it down to .85, which is past the cap?

the speed cap is dumb, cause if you get a pistol with nice damage and goes 1.5, it doesnt get past 1 which is a rip off cause pistoleers mostly depend on speed not power.

Okay if this has been answered please post the thread link. Say for example I have a Laser Carbine with 2.0 attack speed. If I have Carbine Speed Mod +80 how fast does that make the attack speed now? Is it 2.0 - .8 = 1.2? Just curious how this works with the attack speed of guns and the speed mods. Thanks.

Quick question: How muchdoes a polearm speed mod lower your AS? (i.e. +25 polearm speed = -?? AS)

+25 is capped for any speed.
