Thread: Good enough LVA?

going to buy a 3.8 speed 800 max unpupped lva, and i was a wondering if this is suitable to hunt jedi with, as i understand high dmg lva's and dots are the way to go for this. any input is welcome.

Hmm can't say I used LVA's when I hunted jedi, the ol 284 strength 120 dur mindfire Nightsister Lance worked fairly well, I'm curious are you planning to attack his action and health? In my experience they heal that to quickly

I fight Jedi with a 1012 damage LVA and I kill them far faster and easier than any DoT whore. I'm upgrading too.....trading my current LVA and 7 million credits for a 1384 damage LVA

Where you get a fancy LVA like that?
Player created?? doesnt seems like it?
Looted? If so, where you hunt LVA loot?
I got one now who reaches a lill pver 400 in max dam whit a pup, is that adequate?

You will need a 1000 max damage pike or better, also remember, your pikes need a high min damage as well. Jedi have no Mitigation, but if yer gonna kill somethign other than Jedi with a Pike, ya need a high min damage. Also, is your piek sliced or no? If you got a 25% or better slice opn it, you woudl have at least 1000 damage point son that sucker.

My 1300 max lva has been subject to loads of whining in tells on farstar. Gotta love them tells.
And as a former reply stated a high dmg lva CAN be far quicker for a jedi/ranged (no melee mitigation) but dont hesitate to plant a health or whatever fire to speed up the process.

The highest player crafted LVAs can get is like 385 max unsliced @ 4.4 speed. All high damage LVAs are looted from either nightsisters or singing mountain clan.

Anything over 800 max is a reasonable enough pike to be very strong at the speed cap in my opinion.

How the hell do people think that the profession with the "supposedly" most powerful weapons don't do the most damage? I mean, we are supposed to be the rifleman profession of Melee, eh?

I have a looted LVA with max damage of 358 to it that I use to kill jedi. But it also has + 11 to polearm speed and + 25 to Def vs KD. I also have a 880 max damage LVA and it does pretty good too.
