You can't just look at the number. You need to calculate the damage per second. Leg hit 2 takes longer to pull off, so while you are doing more damage the actual dps might be closer than you think to leg hit 1. Also, it's more expensive on the HAM bar.

I wish it was as damaging as ph3. It's definitely much weaker, and costs just as much HAM, but it's very nice.

well i have the prima guide (christmas present) and it says the damage multiplier for LH3 is 3x and the PH3 damage multiplier is also 3x but this seems like it was published a while ago so maybe it's changed.

I've never been able to get the same kind of hits with lh3 that I have with ph3, in my experience. I know the published numbers say 3x and 3x, but I've never gotten as good as with ph3. /shrug

Since this game is based on a roleplaying by turn system, the combat log is where you reallyshould focus when fighting. I would suggest increasing its size when in caombat, colourize the textyou want for hits, misses, deaths, etc. so that you recognize them faster and learn to read the system. This can at times(like when raiding bestine or AH) get very complex and in such situations I recommend leavin the log alone and just goout for the fun of it. ...but when taking on smaller groups, or at least one-on-one, read the log and learn to manipulate it the most efficient way.

I killed hourton huntresses for about 45 minutes using these two moves, and LH2 seems to definitely be the winner. with it I frequently hit for 1000 or more, and the highest hit was 1350. LH1 by contrast usually hits for under 1000 and the highest hit was around 1000.

The one issue with only looking at the combat spam is that the dmg listed is the damage BEFORE any armor or resistances are taken into account. The numbers floating above the toons are the REAL dmg that you do.

What we really need is for the combat spam to say something like:

"You hit the Elder Nighsister with Back-Breaker for 5300 (2400) dmg"

where the number in parens is the actual dmg... so you don't have to look at both places....

Yeah this drives me nuts and makes it so hard to figure out what is really going on. I am going to look into a program that lets me record my game play. I think that is the only solution I can think of tobe able to track things like thiswith any clarity.
