In the books, Pikeman are very prominent. Stormtroopers, as part of their training, get extensive training with LVAs in basic. Darth Maul had polearms training which is why he felt comfortable with a double bladed lightsaber. You can see him use Action Hit 1 and several other techniques in Episode 1.

I would argue that we DON'T want a stun weapon. Then we'd be overran by a gibbering hoarde of mindless twits who wanted to play the new fotm.

Hmm..if that was a mind fire LVA that guy was using against Luke, ROTJ would've been a short movie. Or at the very least, we'd see Luke using Force Run 3 to run away.

Hehe. Great post. Also notice how the guy using sweep1 completely missed, he had a looted LVA. Also, there is another Gammorean in Jabba's Palace with a VL, and every occurance of the Crimson Guard, of course, shows them holding a "basic lance".

Clearly the Gamorreans were Master Pikemen. Jabba wouldnt have noobs, gaurding the palace.

I watched ROTJ again the other day for the umpteenth million time and I noticed that there were even more different types of pikes in Jabba's than I had remembered. I counted at least 4 different ones that aren't in the game. Being a pikeman I seem to notice the pikes now more. It was the same when I was a pistoleer. lol still looking for the swords and hammers.

unfortunately no other proffeisions will get blast .. devs stated..

hrmm stun would be ok for pvp ..

i'd like to see a more durable or easier to attain energy based lance ... ala swordsman' scythe schematic quest..

eh, stun wpn would easily make pikeman fotm, maybe if the nsel was stun... that would be interesting
