Ive got a real nice template that caps my ranged and melee defense, which works well alongside the 115 block from pikeman.
Since I pvp alot too my kd and dizzy resists are almost capped (cap is 125 for almost all defenses now), which gives me a huge advantage over fighters, since Ill have at least 5 seconds where I can hit them, and they cant hit me (Basically 2-3 hits free for me).
And dont believe what anyone else says, pikeman is a very good pvp profession if you play it well. I dont even use dot lances, although Im sure they would be a help if I ran into someone with heavy duty armor.
Doc is a nice add-on, but I gave up master since everywhere you turn is another master that is willing to buff you. With my defenses I take about 1/10th the hits I used to, so healing isnt that important to me anymore.
Basically what Im trying to say is if you practice your template enough eventually you will have a very useful one, its all about knowing how to best use each of your skills in each situation.

I'm going to assume that Tkm/FM/PM is not an option?
Well Im not going for PvP. I already have Master Fencer. I want Master Swordsman for the single targets and Master Pikeman for the Area of Effect. If TKM/MF/MP is your template I am curious as to how that is working out, ultimately Im shooting for ultimate PvP as the title of the post says. Any input is welcome.
Im master pike/master doc right now, and to be quite honest, i feel that using your doc skills when in PvP is a sure way to get screwed, fast! unless you have a good mind buff ontop of your brandy that it![]()
I've been hit with quite a few mind poisons in PvP, and using your MIND to cure them just sets you worse off, especialy when they just pull that weapon again and hit you for yet another poison. If you want poison ect healed when in PvP, get a friend to do it!
just my 2 creds worth
